There are many on the left who do want to take our guns. There just is not an easy way to do it. DC VS Heller made it very clear that they affirmed the 2nd amendment. The court does not have a habit of going against their own prior rulings. To get rid of the guns, they need to adjust t or delete the 2nd amendment. Very tough to get that certified.

The way they will try to reduce the guns is through national registration. Some in Congress have already floated the idea of charging high transfer fees & ammo taxes to price many of us out of the market. They really can't take what we have, but they can make it very difficult or expensive to give them to our kids, sell them to friends, etc.

So when you say, [B]"take our guns"[/B], I think you're either mentally infirmed, have a history of violent crime including domestic abuse, or basically someone who can't pass a background check. Which one are you? It also begs to ask the question, why would you want people with a diagnosed mental disorder or a history of violence to have access to guns? It seems to me that the idea of "Bad guy with a gun to be stopped by a good guy with a gun" would be more effective if there were less "bad guys with guns".

So, I have to ask, why would you want people with a diagnosed mental disorder or a history of violence to have access to guns?

I said nothing about wanting to keep guns in the hands of criminals. You are delusional or have you head stuffed up your ass if you think that parts of the left do not want to take away legally owned guns. Do you not recall at least two of their presidential candidates stating they intended to confiscate certain types of legally owned guns. Some Democrat lead states have already passed very restrictive laws not against who owns the guns, but what kind of gun it is & how many rounds it holds. The gun owners had to move the guns out of state or turn them over to the state. That sure looks like some want to take away guns.

Went to court once, not 69 times, case was appealed all the way to the SC. After the decision, gore conceded the next day or shortly thereafter. Quite a difference from 2020. False equivalency.
