That's not how economics / supply and demand work for anyone else so why should they adhere to it?

I'm not saying 1 k is reasonable for a LC tier provider but still. I would expect rates to increase after a pandemic and in a climate where * can provide decent-to-great side income.

If there is an actual product, sometimes the product cost increases and a company has to offset that cost with higher prices. This hobby is strictly a service and most are of mediocrity level. Additionally, even on an average of 2. 5 to 3% annual pay increase for the average employee, provider increases far exceed that, mainly with their ss and hh rates. Also, many legitimate "services" will provide a discount or monetary return if you aren't happy with the service. In this hobby, you'd be lucky to not get robbed let alone, receive a guarantee of service.
