General Reports

It's definitely a noob thing to do. I post this from time to time, so I guess it needs repeating again.

Information and intel are the coin of the realm on this board. You MUST give lots of information before EVER asking for any. The more you give, the more you get, it's that simple.

Think of it this way - many of us are out there on the tracks mongering every week, and reporting back regularly. Why should someone who hasn't contributed benefit from our "work"??

Luckily, many of you noobs can correct this. First, RTFF. Much of the information you seek is within these reports, sitting in broad daylight. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where the tracks are.

Second, REPORT BACK on your exploits. That way you'll build up some street cred, and avoid being labeled as bacon.

thanks for the tip. "Some" seniors act like jerks and speak so rudely to regular members. Either don't reply or offer helpful advice like Robert. You were all noobs once. I will def. Hit the scene myself and post what I find.

First. Great job on the forum. Been following for some time, I think I've read every post in the raleigh section along with other cities. Great for the traveling man.

I have agree with Pnty Rdr. You all started with one post. So why would a noob ever post here if all they get is crap from some of the members(always the same ones it seems). "RTTF" seems to be common response. From my experience, being a member of many forums, most noobs read every post in the forum section, before ever posting, just so they don't get crap. It's not just noobs. Some of the regulars are just as guilty with not RTTF. I see some of the members have many posts on this board but how many are good reports or just ranting about some noob. I think the smell bacon was already here long before the noobs got here! You have to agree, that the only way a board continues to grow and survive are noobs joining/posting. Without them most boards slowly die. Ease up gentlemen. Let's enjoy our hobby. Remember, it's USA Guide not just a Raleigh thing.

Hey Joe,

Thanks for responding back, let's try to put this to bed for good.

As far "RTFF" as a response back to anyone is showing a misunderstanding how these threads work. Things change daily, weekly, monthly in our hobby space. With that said, why would anyone ever care about a report from 2006 on SWs in Raleigh. This has no value to what's happening today in Raleigh. So for given thread maybe first few pages should be read for the current reports. The other pages are just a good read but are not what's happening now. Hurt my feeling, don't think so. I'll post when there is respect shown for all our members!

Last point:

As members of the USA sex guide, how many have made donations to the web site? How many of you monitor the links at top, sides and bottom of each thread? How many of you actually click on these links? The links are constantly changing but my bet is most if not all ignore the links as just noise on the page. You come into the threads you follow, read the latest posts then leave! I think as noobs there is a better chance that we will try links just to see where they lead. The owners of this web site are only in this web business to make money. If you don't agree then you are fooling yourself. They could care less what(within the rules) we discuss (sports, medicine or SWs) as long the number of people accessing the site and continues grow. So bottom line is by bashing other folks on these Raleigh threads will drive people away then revenue drops then? You know the rest of the story. No revenue no site! Where will this forum be if senior members continue to drive folks away. My guess "Page not found"

The smell is getting stronger. Maybe bacon and some more wine? No don't think it's bacon anymore, it's starting to smell like S**T.

I know you all think I'm a big A**hole but now you know how we noobs feel.

Sorry if that sounds harsh but to a large degree this is not a spectator sport. You have to put in your time cruising to meet girls who you want to be regulars. Well as you say numbers don't lie. Indeed it appears that there is a bias in the Raleigh board. However, given the history of the acronym which is based on RTFM, I suspect that this is indicates that there are a lot of computer programmers on this board, or those that are familiar with the lingo.

Given the fact that RTFM first appeared in print in 1979 in a computer manual (though was used earlier by radio operators), and that this is after all one of the three cities in RTP -- it makes perfect sense to me that you would see a lot of this. So I suspect you need to find more similar cities (silicon valley, Boston perhaps) and see if the ratios of RTFF are similar.

I was a newbe at one time and got the cold sholder and evan called bacon but I kept posting and talking and after a long time I was a SR member I had to do the work and the rest of you will too I still have snubbs from members more SR than me but who cares get over it and get a BJ.

Numbers don't lie, but they can mislead. To simply assume that they prove we're noob haters is well, simple. Glad to know that you can do a simple search of one word. Did you also go further and look into how many noobs asked for stupid and easy to find information in each of those cities? Did you read to find out if the responses were more helpful and friendly? No, because like most people you simply searched until you found information that backed you up and concluded the issue closed.
Frankly I don't have time to cover all the forums, but I did read the first 40 pages of Detroits SW forum and in all I only found 4 cases of noobs asking for easily found information without providing any first. From this we could assume that the actual problem is that our noobs are lazier than theirs.
I think this is also the wrong answer. My personal take is that because our city has a relatively small SW problem we have less info to post, which means we post less often. Since we post less often and people assume that old posts aren't helpful (they are by the way, many of the same players and areas are the exact same as they were 3 years ago) noobs ask for info instead of trusting the forum. And we get pissed because its just annoying.

The main point for the noobs should be that the entire point of the forum is to tell you where people have found SWs at. So it is utterly pointless to come on and post "where are the SW?".

However you all feel about Noobs and their qestions. All I have to say that it has been mighty dry out there. I have been out three times this week and not a single option worth picking up.

Maybe I can get lucky tomorrow and find Nikki.

This is the case of Alicia, who I picked up on lower Bragg this morning. She's been reviewed on this board and none of the reviews have ever been stellar. I picked her up once over a year ago, but dropped her back off as she wouldn't do BBBJ. I believe the Alicia you're talking about is different from the one that has been predominantly reviewed. the one i've seen reviewed more often is the white, short Alicia with red hair and was recently in the slammer. Harsh face, big breasts, and bad attitude. The one you're talking about has always been of good service to me, and she's one I would not mind seeing again if I were to restart. I've spoken with her, and she is out and about certain times of the day (seniors pm me if you want more detailed info). And now for other reports:

The other Alicia is out again and back on the backroads off New Bern. Jamie/Tara has been seen out and about as well ready for a ride. I saw a HSW with a BSW off state street today, and she looked pretty good for a pickup. Ginger has told me she is trying to keep certain hours and is willing to provide her number to those who pick her up and want to be repeat customers. Also, I've seen a few new women out in familiar areas; i've just not stopped yet to get names and info.

As for the subject of new people posting let it go. No matter what, if a new person asks a question about where to look without either admitting where they've looked or even if they've looked, the response will be the same. Quit the bitching on both sides and post about mongering experiences.

Saw Michelle for the first time in months. Back at her old hang out on South Wilmington St. Sadly, she has gained a lot of weight since the last time I saw her. Saw Marie walking down Tarboro St on Saturday. She was walking with a Latino male friend, so I kept driving. Saw Cheryl, late 40s or early 50s wsw, nice tits but sagging in the belly.
