Woodford Reserve,
I'm a Republican like my entire life. The old republicans. Before they jumped on the crazy train. It's not name calling, it's calling it as it is. Conspiracies, lies, nonsense, Bigfoot, ufo's, lunacy-are-us bullshit that yea, 69 million fell into. Just because it's a big number doesn't mean it's not completely out of touch with reality. We need our old Republican Party back. Conservative, facts, intelligence. Because neither of the three exists In Today's party.
I agree that most of the vocal members of the party need some time in a padded room. Same for most of the vocal leaders on the left. It is name calling. My point was this: lumping all who voted in 1 direction into the bucket of uneducated racists is utter bullshit. I personally thing Trump was an ass. He just happened to agree with me on more things than did Hillary. Same with Joe. If I had to pick a guy to have a beer with between Trump or Joe, I'd pick Joe. It just so happens I like Trump's opinion on the 2nd amendment, Taxes, National Defense, & lots of other issues. I had to vote for an ass that was in my mind the lesser of two evils based on policies. Unlike some on both sides of the aisle, I'm educated & intelligent enough to separate the issues from the person in the office.
Hell, I'd rather leave the wing nuts behind & introduce the decent folks on the right to the Libertarian (NOT Liberal) way of thinking. Hopefully we could take a bunch of the more centrist Dems with us as well. Small government, local control of education, low taxes, etc.
