Kinda surprised Blaze is trending down.

Hard to believe at one point this spot was straight jumping!

Even when it was on it's last legs, with low crowds, few dancers, pieces of building falling apart and giant potholes everywhere, I preferred THAT to what it is now. The club somehow feels even smaller to me with the renovations / rehab.

The old dayshift DJ was cool as shit. He'd greet you from the DJ booth and direct you to grab a drink. The old lady manager / bartender would give you a heavy pour for $5 a pop. And since DJ doubled as "security", you never got a pat down because he was spinning in the booth. After a while, I started bringing snacks to go along with my drink!

Those were the days!
