I generally try to figure out who I'm meeting with by researching things like this, it's not always possible to figure out who the real SB is but 90% or more I can figure it out. I was burned the one time thatt I didn't do my homework finding out the person actually was in jail for a week instead of the lame excuse she gave when things didn't add up and when I confronted her she dropped a bomb on me that rocked my world. Do your homework, especially if it's someone you plan on seeing on a regular basis so you know what kind of person you're dealing with. Lots of evil tacos out there.

This one is tall w / a hot body, obviously an accomplished career woman, 30's. Fine messaging w / her on the site, but some difficult texting once I get to San Fran; a little hard edge to her. We do meet for drinks at a perfectly tasteful spot she suggested, very pleasant / positive convo, including some 'real', personal stuff (despite listing Caucasian, she turns out to be mixed; she's looking for work), then I suggest hanging out. We go over to my room, and she heads the discussion toward a long term arrangement she wants / I could do, what cities we could meet up in, etc. Of course there's a little making out, and again I inquire about her sexual self, and again, she's one who likes to be led. Thanks! You make some excellent points. As you mentioned, there are these SBs who want to really learn and care for a special relationship much more than a quick encounter and exchange of cash. There are a few I am working on that I believe are in this category. They can get chatty, talk about their school, and basically value your inputs. They don't really talk about the allowance though they could help with some additional money. I'm hoping that I'll have more patience to work these POTs and take the relationship beyond just texting. LOL.

JLZ spoke about this a few days ago when discussing the recent terrible incident in VA. We don't want SA to go the route of BP. I adjusted my approach long ago to what I call a 'long game'. I don't expect to hit the FC on the first meeting. When I first joined SA, I was trying to close on the first meeting all of the time. I had a great success rate, but I started to notice most of the women I was meeting were border line or actual UTRs. I gave it some thought, and adjusted my approach to a bit like JLZ's.

I think you can roughly break the women up on SA into two categories. The first is the group of women that just want the cash. This includes the UTRs, the NANDOs, and the GPSs. The second is the group of women who may also need cash, but they're not going to sleep with just any guy for it. They don't want to be treated like a UTR where they meet you at a hotel continuously and bang for cash. They need to be romanced a bit in the beginning and during the relationship to make them feel 'special'. It's a relationship built on more than just the exchange of cash for sex.

I've found that by focusing on the second group, that there are some that just want to go out and have a romantic date or trip. They don't care that much about the cash. They want to experience a lifestyle they couldn't otherwise.

SA needs to find a way to ensure that only the second group of women are on SA. If they don't, they'll go the way of BP.

After relying on overnight business trips to take SBs to the FC I changed my M. O. nine months ago to a more local 30 to 45 minute radius. I kept thinking the ideal would be to have at least one SB in the rotation who could host. Not only would this reduce the pv expense by $65 to $95 it could also create late morning meet-ups instead of waiting for a hotel 2 pm check in. As luck would have it I now have 3 in the rotation who can host, a 22 yo, a 26 yo bi-sexual and and a 37 yo bi-sexual (who claims to be 27 on her SA page LOL). What surprises me is that although they are upwardly mobile (accounting degree, MFA and nursing student) their apartments are basically train wrecks. That and double size old mattresses, clothes all over the place, etc. I don't believe it is a lack of finances, they are just (Hmm) - what is a nice word for slobs. I've noticed the mess thing in some but certainly not all situations. It is a turnoff. Actually most of my SBs that hosted were the opposite. Very clean, almost fastidious.

You touched on something else. The number that have a psychological issue. Depression, bipolar, anxiety, etc. And of course many have a self-medicating approach to it. All I can say is to make sure you are very careful with anonymity early on and not sure what you do long term. Because if you are with someone for a while they will figure out who you are. At least if the relationship is meaningful.
