Most likely a pimp trying to shake you down for some cash. If you are using a burner phone or texting app there's not much chance they could track you down or do any real damage. It does make the case to never give a provider much information, never let them see your vehicle or indicate where you work of live. If they want to make conversation I usually give them a bunch of BS, fake name, just passing through town etc.
