A lot of you guys know that I read the other Forums, especially in Orlando, Daytona and down South in Indian River. One of my favorite mongers is a Senior Forum Member in Daytona whose handle is JoshuaFalken. His reviews and posts are very interesting and almost scholarly in his approach to the hobby sometimes reading like soft porn! I have read with great interest his fascination with a particular provider up in Daytona who goes by Nina over the years. The experiences he has had with her sounds like an almost dangerous liaison, a compulsion and adoration that any of us have probably experienced with providers ourselves. Perhaps, some of you guys have had similar relationships. So here goes. She was the warning I did not read. The bad advice I choose not to heed. The poor decision I had to make. The poisoned pill I loved to take. The sleeping bear I often shook. The darkened path I always took. The sirens call I could never ignore. The dignity I can't restore. The price I paid at any cost. The fight I choose to fight and lost. Now, I'm sure Falken stole this from someone, but it doesn't matter because it certainly resonates with me and I am sure with you guys. Especially, those of us who have fallen into this trap with a provider who we often get too seriously involved with and forget it is just a hobby and should never take it too seriously!
