Was driving by and noticed that the spa looked open (appeared lights were on) , and had a "Bodywork" sign on the building. I stopped, rang the bell (at 11 am, maybe busy) no answerm so I am unsure if someone was in the space working, or did a new group take over?
Drove by an hour ago, and the "OPEN" light was on, it does appear they reopened (maybe a Dec 1st start of rental or sub lease).

Now that the days are shorter I decided to give Airport Rd. A try. Saw some reviews of standard finish so I was at least expecting that. Nope, 1/2 hr of soft touch with a DIY handy finish, roaming was immediately shut down and she refused to touch junior. Held her hand out for a tip as I was walking out, gave her a blank stare and kept walking. Unlikely to return if the talent level doesn't improve.

Why wouldn't you tip $10 or so for the service you did receive (let her see that you had more on you)?
No extra services, no generous tip of course. Don't return if your expectations are not likely to be met "next time".
Sending a message? This way she gets the right message loud and clear (as she watches you put all that cash back into your pocket). Happened to me on a first visit once. Went back and collected on expectations offered for next time.

But for me, AMPs are almost always a last resort when all other options fall through. I consider myself to be fairly generous when it comes to tipping etc and hardly ever put up a stink with bargaining but I stand by this decision, zero extras= zero tip.

Thanks for the review, I have been hesitant to visit 1177 lately because of the push towards $160 tip.
