I don't go back as far as Methuselah, like yourself LOL, but never had a problem nonetheless. In my experience the last thing any AMP wants is to have a rep of ripping off clients. However, times change so I actually agree it best to only bring the dough you are willing to lose (or tip). This also helps with making sure the little head doesn't take over too much.
Curious why the poster made the accusation about it possibly being the Mamasan. That would be the last person I would suspect. But that is probably just me.
PS Just an idea for those that are concerned about getting stuff "removed" from their wallets without consent. Wallets are inexpensive, buy yourself another one just for mongering and only keep want you need in it. Stash your other one somewhere in your car BEFORE you go in.
