I reached out about two weeks before making my trip. Contacting Alyssa was very easy. She was very responsive to texts and correspondence with her was prompt and pleasant. This wasn't a surprise to me, based on the post I referenced -- but I felt that the $20 was an acceptable price to learn the truth definitively.
