Also, when I stay on either the old or new strip I try to pick a hotel that has security checking room keys at the elevator or like Luxor, you need to swipe your phone app or room key to gain access.

Make sure whomever you invite is recently reviewed and verified and check out. Even well reviewed providers sometimes turn for the worst. Don't call a provider from the cards or flyers they handout on the strip.
