Seriously it can be quite the annoyance at times. I am sure it has a lot to do with competition among K-orgs possibly or some form of B / S discreetness etc, but I always take my business to bookers who are most responsive and professional. Just feel they may benefit more if a provider sticks with their name and avoid confusion. But I am also one of those people who would gladly walk away at the door if its an obvious rebrand or the person is not representative and I can see her for half the price at AMP.

Some bookers are even so polite and delightful to work with that I go out of my way to give them more business especially with cash to burn and I am not being sarcastic. I think I just hit that stage of mongering where if a booker is passive aggressive or on a power trip I just don't give them my business.
