Drug use also is associated with a lot of risky behaviour, so STI's are at a higher risk (for us that's always a thing). The other issue can be the injection sights get infected fairly easily due to dirty needles and / or dirty surroundings, which can result in a MRSA infection, which is very bad. I don't know the rate of this happening, but when I was starting in my field I worked for a detox facility, and a lot of IV addicts either wound up at the hospital for that or were honestly worried about getting it. It's not pretty, highly contagious, and spread via contact with the infected area via shared items like razors, or touching said area and having a wound (I think a hangnail or small finger wound could suffice).
Take this with a grain of salt as I'm not a medical professional, but I do work in the addiction / recovery field.

Additionally, providers who offer BBFS + CIP are usually on PEP and have IUDs to prevent unwanted STIs and pregnancies.
This does not apply to the average List Crawler or Babylon chick lmao. I went to see Annika and when I entered the room, I left because she smelled bad, looked old, and did not have a semblance of any health reports. And from that moment onward, I never plan on seeing a low-quality provider from Babylon or LC again. To each their own I guess.

IF you were to contact it through a "date" and that's a Big IF, most people with healthy, good immune systems, their bodies could fight it off on its own. Hepatitis C is also something one person can give to themselves.
MRSA (a type of staph infection) is caught through open wound contact. Most cases of this are found in areas with a large amount of people in a small space: jails, homeless shelters, rehab facilities, etc.
Hepatitis A is contacted through food and water typically from an infected person spreading microscopic Feceal matter. Or through oral sex (rim job). Highly contagious.
HIV is contracted through all bodily fluids.
Other STD's that are harder to get than most think:
Herpes: Can only affect the un-infected party if the infected party is currently in a "breakout" which would be very noticeable. This not only shows visible signs but causes a very heavy green like discharge. This is not cureable.
Most common STI's: HPV, Trich.
Among gay men: syphilis, gonorrhea.
Things also spread through sexual contact that most don't know about.
BV: Bacterial vaginosos. Male has unprotected sex with infected female then spreads it to other unprotected sex partner.
UTI: This really isn't spread more like oral bacterial swapping fluids from vagina to. Anus.
Yeast infection: believe it or not, men can spread this to different woman from a woman who had one.

And you don't care about the likelihood of catching an STD by going bareback into a sex worker who is servicing guys who similarly don't care about catching an STD (so the probability of you getting one compounds to almost certainty) then that's your business and do what you want to do. BUT if you have a significant other, kids etc then you are frankly a selfish idiot b / c you are putting other people (who you presumably care about) at risk. Covering up is important to prevent the transition of STDs but not a perfect solution. Some of the other posts talk about covering to avoid STDs and most look at it realistically, the cover helps but is not fool-proof. HPV and Herpes is easily transmitted even though covered. Both can be transmitted from skin to skin. In the case of herpes, look for acne looking bumps around the kitty and the ass. HPV is harder to detect because many people do not show signs but can share. Luckily there is a vaccine for HPV. There are also hepatitis vaccines out there.
