Extension for Backpage and Nuvo: ?layout=detailed
Extension for Backpage and Nuvo: ?layout=detailed
This extension will append the separate ads so they can be scrolled rather than having to be opened separately.
Extension for Backpage and Nuvo: ?layout=detailed
At this point is looks like we have to add the extension to the URL
Before:
http://indianapolis.backpage.com/WomenSeekMen/
After
http://indianapolis.backpage.com/WomenSeekMen/?layout=detailed
Before:
http://indianapolis.nuvo.net/FemaleEscorts/
After:

Another public service announcement brought to you by Golfcart.
Somebody figure out what extension will work for Craigslist and get back to me.
Anyone know why I got EIGHT email notices about this single post?
My email inbox got filled up with eight notices of this same post about processing Backpage files. I looked, and they were all identical and in the Cincinnati General Reports forum. What is the story? Did anyone else see the same repeat notification of a single new post?
Golfcart: being a seasoned senior, I presume that you did not submit your post eight times (besides, it only appears once on the forum). Was there anything unusual about the process you used to make your post?
JACKSON: If this is a problem on your end, you will want to correct it. It would suck to get eight notices of every post made! So far, this is the only example.

I submitted the post a bunch of times. Better that I tell exactly what I did and why so Giani can resolve how he was impacted in a way that was not intended by me and so Jackson can tell me what I did wrong.
I stumbled onto the extension "/?layout=detailed" that when added to the URL of Backpage and Nuvo (but not Craigslist) would allow the reader to append all those separate ads into one long ad so it could be opened only once and scrolled.
I considered the extension very handy and wanted to get it out to the guys in the areas where I focus. My thinking was were I to post it once, for example, in Cincinnati General Reports only, it would be a long time before it got around, and this little tool was handy enough it deserved being "planted" in enough places that it would make its way around faster.
I wanted to plant it in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.
In Indiana I put it on Indianapolis and South Bend. Ohio was Cincinnati and Columbus. Kentucky was Louisville and Lexington. Tennessee was only Nashville I think.
Now, because the tool was specific to Backpage and Nuvo, that meant it needed to go on the sub-boards of Backpage and Nuvo in those cities that had those sub-boards. I think I also posted it under General Reports for the city or maybe it was the state. Maybe I did get a little carried away.
P.S. The "thank you" posts have started so I think others will find this as useful as I expected.
P.S. No. 2 I'm advised that on both Backpage and Nuvo, top left under the search box appears "view of ads: full | brief." The default is "brief." Clicking "full" will ad the extension and open one full ad to be scrolled. So I'm afraid this is a Roseann Rosannadanna moment.
CPD Mobile Command Center
My travels took me down Fifth Street headed East and I notice the Mobile Command Center for the city's finest parked in front of Sak's. And of course, The Hyatt and The Millenium Hotels are on the same block. Just sayin.
