It is my understanding that they have to get a search warrant and a court order to make the cell company unlock it. Hey guys. Did any of you see the Clarksville sting earlier this week. Our former regular: London, or Sierra got snagged in some deep mess in Clarksville. Google pros_ sting Tennessee. And see what you get. This needs to be one put on the permanent no go list. Last year and now again. Also. Seems to get worse everytime. Just saying.
Okay. So this is a bit off topic, but if any of you do watch scandal, you're going to like this episode. Makes me wonder how many of Nashville's politicians have their own UTRs.

On March 26,2015 MPD Vice Detectives served search warrants on three businesses suspected of engaging in the crimes of Impersonating Licensed Professionals and Prostitution. Evidence was seized at each of the locations and is part of the ongoing investigation. Detective David Harrison will present the cases to the Rutherford County Grand Jury for possible criminal charges. Last Call 4 Grace Ministries assisted investigators by providing resources to the women working in these businesses.
This investigation is part of the Department's continuing effort to fight human trafficking, one person at a time, one life at a time.

Very arrogant in there advertising with pictures of unlicensed masseuse.

This story's a few weeks old, but I don't think it's been mentioned yet.
Nobody should be involved in this life who doesn't want to be. But I do wonder how a 32-year-old "college educated social worker, PTO officer, room mom, United Way volunteer" could naively answer a classified ad, and then Oh Mercy Me! she suddenly finds herself on Backpage through no fault of her own.
But she's starting her own ministry now (according to Twitter), so the victim card always sells well.

-Jeepster1.
I'm with you Jeepster, no one should be in this lifestyle if they don't want to be. I could give you my opinion on BP providers and sws but I will stick to this story. Something seems to be missing in this story. How do you go from being a masseuse who "could choose to perform sex acts", not being forced to, and making good money to all of a sudden being pimped? Also, she was a social worker so she had to have had some type of knowledge regarding that lifestyle. I'm not saying she knew everything about it but there is some ongoing training social workers attend on a yearly basis that covers this to some extent. In addition, there is not one single thing mentioned about drugs, unless I missed it, and I would put money on it that there had to have been some type of use. I have seen a few women who got into the lifestyle for a very short period to make some quick money and then they leave. For some reason or another, she crossed over to the deeper dark side of the lifestyle but it's not like she just fell into it. I could say more but I will leave it at that for the moment.

Gentlemen, it is a very interesting story. It is only part of the whole story of some lady's experience in the lifestyle. It sounds like the dark side of the lifestyle. Its not uncommon for the trafficking stories to get lost because they are still running from pimps and influences to keep them doing what returns them money. Yes sometimes drugs are involved but a majority of the time its the money. As the old saying goes " money is the root of all evil". I have had several conversations with a few providers that have come and gone. Some were getting S. S. Disability and needed to supplement and others just loved sex and figured they would get paid for it till getting tied up with the uncle. Its hard to say its just drugs until the whole story is know.

The Tennessean story is probably intentionally vague or misleading on a number of points. I respect her desire to help others who want out of the life, and she is pretty brave to speak out publicly if she is indeed being pursued in the way the story states.

I am very well aware of that and that is the reason why I stated in my original post that I would only "stick to this story". At the very least, it's all about choices this educated provider made, some which are obviously not mentioned, and don't forget she had people who offered to help but she chose not to accept. I have heard of mongers offering to help certain providers get out of the lifestyle but for some reason they choose not to accept the help. I could go on and on regarding this topic but that would be a long read.

-Jeepster1.
It does not surprise me that LEO failed to deal with her pimp, "selective enforcement" it is. Unfortunately there is too much room for discretion in how LEO goes about enforcing the laws and also pursuing cases. I understand sometimes they don't have the man power but I have seen too many examples of LEO simply just not going out of their way to pursue certain crimes. Be it because they don't have the time, they have no idea who they are looking for, or simply because the person reporting it "deserves what they got" for their involvement in the case. Also, some cases are just not as important as others so they are at the very low end of the totem pole.

If those in the sex business are innocent victims if they have a pimp (and are thusly spared arrest), while the independent.
Ones are arrested, then why don't we, as mongers, get pimps?
We could claim to be victims. And with pimps handling our 'business arrangements' for us, all the hassles of providing.
References to providers would be eliminated.
Yes, we might need to be availiable to 'service' the ladies at their beckon call. But what a small price to pay.
I'm sure others can provide even other benefits.
