Huh? The Stanley is smack dab in the middle of 'downtown' Chelsea. Around a mile or so from 16 if you hook a turn at Chelsea High. If you want directions just stop at the CPD HQ - it a couple of hundred yards away. It is extremely rare to see anything above a 5 working Chelsea. The PA was better back when the girls first started getting squeezed out of Boston - but since then the Chelsea-Everett-MSP have taken up the slack. Chelsea and the PA just like Boston is hit or miss - more miss then hit.
In Chelsea at the beginning of route 16, look to your left and you'll see a big ol sign blue letters. Unless it's been torn down, but I doubt it.
Right, my mstake nearby Riley's Roast Beef....my bad.
Caught a break in the rain late last night and took a spin around. Saw one WSW working it on the roast beef loop. Dressed young, looked older, skinny legs. Bad spot to stop, otherwise a closer look might have been warranted. Did the loop around and saw another possibility lurking on a darkened door stoop. Hard to tell if she was working or just hanging out.
Meanwhile, the PA is still dead.
Chelsea used to have alot of girls walking around. I have been working in the area for about 7 years and have watched it go down hill. Sometimes if you keep driving past CPD heading toward revere you might find some walking around, but its getting harder every year. I'm young so I don't know what it used to be like 10 or 15 years ago, but man from what I have read I missed the best times.

Yes, yes you did.
Maybe not so much Chelsea, but CT anyway.
Picture hundreds of women at a time, most of them 9-10's and not skanky like the hags out there today, walking along sidewalks and in the street, leaning in your car window (because there were hundreds of mongers and it took half an hour to circle a block) and grabbing your crotch, all dressed in lingerie, bikini's, hot pants and short-shorts, low-cut tops and miniskirts without panties.
I don't know who's better off, you for not experiencing it and wishing you had, or me for having experienced it and missing it every day because it's gone for good.:(

didn't even have to venture down near 90. oh man oh man.
I've been reading around a bit too and it appears that the drop has happened everywhere across the US. Call me crazy but it almost seems like Clinton was on our side.
PB,
I am sure you are OK with your image of the old days but I do remember that some of those ladies leaning into the window were looking for more than just your crotch :) I mean some of those chicks were huggggeeee and wore the tiniest of dresses. I sure Meat Man can concur....

Hundreds of girls? Most of them 9-10's? Back away from the crack, jack...
You must be talking about some kind of Pretty Woman CT that used to exsist in an alternate universe of yours. Talk about a big case of 'when I was young things were so much better...'
For every one 7 or 8 there were ten minus 5's. Hundreds? I dunno..maybe on the hottest of the hot nights a couple of hundred - not all on the street at once...

Come on peeps don't start this stuff again!, It only brings back sad memories. I'll only say that I do remember strolling Washington St. back in the mid 80-90's. There were more 7-8's even 9's out there than you can shake a dick at!. Those days may come back again with our economy taking a tumble....who knows?
don't start up again, it's depressing.
Let me remind you that the real golden age of Beantown was the late 60's and early 70's, when the whole city was an open-air brothel. Strolls extended out into the back bay, all along Mass Ave, Tremont, Washington and Columbus. You could find anything you were looking for within minutes. Full service was 30 bucks. Oh well. Now I've just become depressed myself.
Well I'm hoping for some good change out there. Who knows maybe this summer will be better? But I would like to say to all of you guys who have been on here for awhile, thanks for some good info and I will do my best to share any info I get. I keep my eyes open all day for some kind of action down here in chelsea, since I am here all fing day long, but it has been dead.

I think it was back around 1990 or so. Do you remember when the Stage Deli was in the theatre district?
I went down to the deli for dinner with the family. Wife, kids, and in-laws. I dropped them off out front and then I circled a few times looking for a parking spot on the street.
Each time I went around, the same great looking SW was standing there thinking I was checking her out. Finally, I stopped, lowered the window, and explained I was just looking to park the van.
To make along story short, I finally found a spot, went in to the Stage Deli, and sat down with the family.
Who decides to come in and sit at the next table for a dinner break? The SW I was just talking to. She was cool. She just kept winking at me during dinner. Nobody saw.
And yes, I returned the next night just too look for her.
Damn. The good old days.
I won't walk down Memory Lane for any one particular encounter (Christ knows I love to do that), but I do long for the day when running out for some side nookie was actually fun, when the girls you met were mostly good company worthy of at least some misguided respect, and for when the odds were well in your favor that you'd find at least one of your favorite girls within 30 minutes of hitting the stroll. Whereas I used to not look forward to dropping the girl off at the end, now it's almost my favorite part. It's a different day out there, that's for sure.
Sob, sob.
Early 70's had to have been the best. We called it Zoning 101. You could get service inside any club or on the street in an ally those were the days and you could buy gas for as low as .29 cents a gallon and I'm only in my early 50's.

Two different guys asked me not to start the "good old days" reminiscing (so I won't) because what I said was true and they miss the old days as much as I do, while the other guys are talking about how great it was back then just like I did.
And that's a fact "jack".;)
I was born to late but do remember the stories of the past.Relatives that worked in the area telling about the wonderful times there. Now the only thing you see is people wondering why we go by so many times."Look at that fool there he goes again, no gals here".
Did anyone ever get hooked up with a gal way back that had a swing in her apartment?
B.B...
I see that Auto is still out there, now how about some words from the famous GW? :)
Yes, there were some outstanding ladies out there but there were also some down right fat and ugly lads too.
Did a quick tour and did not see anything other than the usual stuff.A Low scale Gal, (1) and person that wanted everyone to think "it" was a girl, WOW.
No time for BHA but wished I could have made the loop there, low scale sometimes, "not always" but there always out and ready.
Summer is here where are the high end whoowas??
B.B...
in the "old days", (1985-1995), I was in my mid 20's to early 30's. To be honest, the zone was an after thought if I struck out at the MANY clubs in Boston. Let me put it this way, I was usually three sheets to the wind, so I can't really comment on quality or quantity. What I can say is this, if I wanted a piece, it was there, anytime, anyday. It was a given if you hit the zone, you would find something. The difference now is that I'm not looking to hookup with single women, I'm just looking for sex. If I was in my 40's back then and tied down, I would have been in SW heaven. Options back then for men were just awesome, from strip clubs to massage parlors to sw's. Some where along the way, the powers that be said "enough". So suck it up Gents and wait. Things are cyclic and I do believe the "old days" will return.
But will I be 80?

OK.. NOOO MORE REMINISICNG!!! WE HAVE TALKED THIS SUBJECT TO DEATH!
There was a good looking gal in the pa last night walking up by the Mobil terminal and she WAS working. The only problem was her "MAN" was driving around watching here like a hawk. She said her name was SARA and she was new to the area but worked there on the track at ct.Just back from DC, and was looking for some regular dates.
Price for fs was 140 and I said not in the backseat of my ride for that kinda jack.Acted like she had her stuff in order clean nice personality only problem other than price was the "DH" in the car watching her.
B.BUXTON...
Well since the is really no SW activitely in Boston to talk about....
In my world there is not such thing as a '10' - the perfect girl. The 10 is a girl in a magazine who has been set up and shot by a bunch of pro's to make her look absolutely perfect..and then she is photoshopped - she doesn't exsist in real life. Now do we really want to say there were hundreds of models and super models walking CT during the 'good old days' looking to give BJ's and FS for $20-80...is that really want you are trying to say with a straight face?
Now on the other hand...I remember cruising CT, the Oak - Tyler loop during the early 90's on my motorcycle, there were a lot of hot looking girls. Probably around 10-20 7-8's and maybe one 9 (to be honest the best girl I ever saw on the track was an 8.5) during a weekend night during the warm weather. I used to cruise CT around 3am when everything else in Boston had close up and I wasn't ready to go home. When I started crusing CT 'professionally' around 97-98 things were still going ok. There were still 10 or so 7-8's working CT during a warm weekend night and I would usually catch 2-3 dates (CBJ) a night (Fri-Sat)
I think a lot of guys here vastly over rate girls. Just because a 4 is willing to give you a BBJCIM for 10 does't make her an 8. Or if you are a 4 and she is a 4 it doesn't make her an 8...

Here's a term you don't seen to have heard of, which I shouldn't have to explain.
It's called the "SW scale"
It's what the rest of us mongers use when rating an SW. It's a lot more forgiving than the scale you'd use in everyday situations.
I did a search for you so you can see how often it's used.

Do you realize that you're trying to tell me that my description of what it was like out there years before you started mongering is wrong and you're using a description of how it was out there years after what I described ceased to exist as an argument?
You didn't start mongering until the 90's and you think you know what you're talking about when it comes to the Combat Zone?
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha:):):):)

I'm with you Phat. Once upon a time you'd see SWs in CT that are the quality you see on the high class escort sites today. Those types of SWs are now advertising online, but, believe me, they used to be out there at all hours of the day and night. Sorry to reminisce, but I had to set the record straight.

I would settle for a hard 6 or 7 and that would be a home-run nowdays.Would be nice to get one that can talk about something other than her favorite color.

Phat, to be honest using something called a "SW scale" is disingenuous and is generally used by a troll to rationalize picking up a troll - ie I am a 4, she's a 4, so I'll call her an 8 so it makes me feel like less of a troll. There are some super fugly SW's - a 1...and some SW's (extremely rare) that indeed have the looks of a super model (a 9 or a 10)...so why the need for a "SW scale", besides what I have already pointed out.
You made the statement that there were hundreds of SW's working the zone during 'the good old days', most of them 9's and 10's - your words. Both of those statements are fantasies - never existed.
Now you have gone from brigades of models and super models working CT to - yes, there were model quality girls working the zone. I already stated that there were model quality SW's working the zone in the 90's, just not in the outrageous numbers you state. Heck, there was one or two model quality girls working last year.

No actually, as I pointed out, the "SW scale" is commonly used around here, I already proved it with the link to the search. You've already been enlightened, you just need to accept it.
But once again, here's a link to the last 100 posts here with the commonly used term "SW scale"
http://www.usasexguide.info/forum/search.php?searchid=969548
As to definition it has nothing to do with you being a 4 on the Troll scale, it's more like a regular scale but more forgiving.
You made the statement that there were hundreds of SW's working the zone during 'the good old days', most of them 9's and 10's - your words. Both of those statements are fantasies - never existed.
As far as you trying to nitpick about the rating I used, you already know there's such a thing as an SW scale on which I rated them 9-10 and that that scale is more forgiving than what you would use with non-SW's.
You said they're 7-8 on your scale. Are you so blind that you can't see we're rating them the same and that you're actually agreeing with me?
And hundreds of them. They worked the Washington, Essex, Harrison, Beach block, and they were all over the Tyler, Beach, Kneeland and Harrison block too and out on Kneeland. Then over across Kneeland and all around the Washington, Harrison, Oak, Marginal block, also up on Tyler and around that block, then they were also along Marginal and the Marginal, Tremont, Beach, Shawmut(?) block and up Tremont to Stuart and they were all around Park square, and the Cortes block plus a few other stragglers here and there like the Common or down by The Herald and further up Washington into Downtown Crossing and that street that parallels Marginal. A few dozen here, a dozen there, 5 here, 4 there, 10 there, it all adds up.
You weren't there, you started too late to see it.
But if you can present a clear and cognizent argument as to how you could possibly know what girls I've seen or how many there were, when these things took place while you were still being potty trained I'll hear you out.;)
Now you have gone from brigades of models and super models working CT to - yes, there were model quality girls working the zone. What????....See above....I must have missed them....are you done yet:)
Yes you are right..there were hundreds of SWs roaming the street of Boston back in the 'good old days', mostly 9's and 10's - your words, not mine...Just legions of playboy playmates working Boston looking to give CBJs and FS for $10-80.
Seriously...
I like to cut the CT stroll into four major parts, Oak-Tyler-Harrison-Marginal, CT where all the shops are, PP-Bay village, Cortes-Isabella and the 7-11 area. You ever once see 50 girls in anyone of these areas? Now let's get even more ridiculous and say you saw during a night of cruising 50 girls in each of these areas...and then on top of it let's toss your statement that most of these girls were 9's and 10's. You really want people to believe you are credible?
Let me makes this a little clearer - the 'SW scale' is for self loathers cruising around in the family mini van. To say that SWs need a separate scale in looks from 'normal' people is just somewhere I don't want to go. I wonder if the girls have a 'trick scale'. Do we really want to get into the psychological reasons why someone who just paid a girl to have sex with wants to pretend a 4 is an 8? What's next the SW exchange rate for money – I paid a 9 10 for a BBJCIM translation I paid a 4 100 for a CHJ…
Just be careful when you put on those rose colored glasses when you look back at the past. That way it will keep you from saying things like there were 100's of SW working CT, most of them 9's and 10's. If you don't say it then you won't have to start spinning and twisting things to make you appear semi credible
Let me makes this a little clearer - the 'SW scale' is for self loathers cruising around in the family mini van. To say that SWs need a separate scale in looks from 'normal' people is just somewhere I don't want to go.
How's this for clearer?
The sw population as a whole is subject to advanced aging and both significant and substantial negative changes to their physical appearance as a direct result of increased exposure to risk factors (physical, chemical, environmental, and as you brought up, psychological) which the rest of the “normal” population isn’t exposed to at nearly the same frequency if at all. When was the last time your babysitter scratched a gouge 5 inches long in her arm that required stitches due to Heroin toxicity? When was the last time your female office manager had a beer bottle broken on her nose by an angry and abusive trick or pimp? I am sure that your sister isn’t the type of girl to go catch syphilis and leave it untreated to the extent that her hand is curled up in a useless claw and she is no longer able to walk without a pronounced limp. And I’ll go you one more… most people lose weight at a normal pace, allowing the skin to shrink in tune with the body. Crack, Cocaine, Heroin et al. when used in the amounts necessary to provide maintenance to a habit that has already pushed a woman into prostitution, the weight loss rate far exceeds the ability of the skin to healthily adjust. I am sure you’ve noticed the floppy breasts on the 4’s that you pick up. And I suppose that shooting up a speedball into a collapsed vein so it causes an abscess and bleeds out causing dermal infection and abrasion is de-rigueur in the house of Cruiser D? I suppose that boils and Herpes are easily acquired in your office, or that ripping out your hair as a result of a bad trip is standard coping strategy for dealing with a reprimand from your boss? When was the last time you got road rash after being thrown out of a moving car as part of your work day?
Their world is completely different than yours.
This is why there is a sw scale. Because for anyone exposed to the conditions for a long period of time doesn’t deserve to be judged on the same scale as the woman you bring home to your parents for Christmas dinner. If you don’t want to accept this, then I respectfully suggest that you are the self loather. By the way, I had no idea you drove a mini van.
I wonder if the girls have a 'trick scale'.
Of course they do. It’s completely based on the average amount of money earned, combined with the average effort involved in pleasing the trick, combined with the probability that the sex worker will be physically abused, maimed, or disappear altogether.
Did I miss anything?
Benchseats Rock
You said it all.

Wow, someone has a little obsession doesn't he?
While I'm flattered that you're hanging on my every word, I'm downright hysterical over the fact that the numbers "9" and "10" and the word "hundreds" have gotten stuck up your ass sideways.
You're just going to have to grow up and either get over it or pull them out yourself.
Well put Benchseats, well put:):)
As I read the foregoing, I sought for an adjective to discribe the discussion. Academic came to mind first, but I immediately discarded that one, realizing that such an issue would not be a likely subject for discourse among true academicians. Silly came to mind second, but that one got dumped because I did not want to seem as though I had no respect for the participants. So I decided to state a couple of truths that might help settle the issues under debate:
1. One man's 4 on the scale of attractiveness might be another man's 8. And if someone wants to use a different set of criteria for evaluating the appearance of SW's, so be it.
2. There have been times, whether one or three decades ago, when there were s**tloads of better looking SW's all over Boston than there are now. The actual numbers aren't important.
3. The fact that things are so barren these days is very likely a disapointment to anyone who seriously pursues "the hobby."
4. About all anyone can do nowadays is to sigh "Oh well." and evaluate whether an evening of hunting is worth the gasoline it will take. The true hunter will still decide in the spirit of the old saying "Le chasse, toujours le chasse."
Si vraiment une discussion est des mensonges théoriques dans le mérite de la discussion lui-même, pas le forum dans lequel il est discuté.
I do agree, Benchseats. BTW...you misspelled a few words there, chump. :)
Thanks Stoner,
Sadly my written French isn't what it used to be. I guess I'm lucky that it is still intelligible.
