Well you guys warned us. I should've listened.
I was in town last week and had some time to kill so I decided I'd give this place a try since everything in Birmingham has pretty much dried up. Things started out well enough with a pretty damn good TS. That was all that was good. From the 7 minute massage to the last luster finish it was a forgettable experience. I should've spent a few more minutes in my hotel room and saved myself some money.
I won't be back. The only good thing I'll say is at least it was a full sized bottle of water they gave me!

I will admit, they have NEVER had any decent massages, but I am shocked that the rest of your visit was unfortunate. I've been there a few times since the change to Royal, and got same great experience with two different ladies. All seniors know how to avoid the 5min massage attempt! C'mon man! If they have given the hint at extras then cool, but just because you don't take part immediately doesn't mean its off the table. I know massages there suck! But I always get well over an hour of time spent there, mostly almost 2 hrs. I understand that some pay for certain "services", get them and don't care for much else but I look at it as paying for time. 10-15mins is NOT acceptable at all to me. You pay a door fee for an hour massage or however long, that simply goes away if you allow them to "get past" that part of the service, no matter how much your head below waist thinks. Fake an injury or something! LOL.
I have been to Royal twice within the last month. I'm totally new to "amping" and I'm sure it showed on my first visit. The ts was very nice not much teasing, but enjoyable. The massage was okay, it did help a bum shoulder. On the flip we did get a good HE and all was well. Went back two week later to try again, same girl,"Sarah", she said she rememberd me and this time she gave me what I call "great" service. Ts was good with lots of teasing. Massage was good, again with lots of teasing. I went back with a HJ for the HE, she allowed a lot of touching between us. She told me she see I'm new to this, so she explain her services. Overall good visit, both times over 1 hr visit. She want me to try FS next time. She's cool but I like smaller frame asian women, she's not bad, late 30's or older, nice frame with a little stomach. Like I said, I'm new to this and still have somethings to learn, I say give another shot if you are back in the area. I have a question, she asked me about only using her, would I offend her by asking for someone else and take the risk at terrible service? That's the reason I haven't been back yet, I just love those skinny girls.
I think soon I'm going to fake a need to go to Costco - and of course make an additional side trip.
Is Royal the place to go. Or not. Should I seek an indy?

So today I made my way to your fair city with $200 in my pockets and going to see what it'll get me. Now my plan is to visit each place with a limit of $100 per location.
This is how I toured Ocean Springs Miss (just outside Biloxi) a few years ago. They had 6 active AMPs at that time which required me to make several trips over a few months time. In each case I got a table shower (1 place only shower, no TS avail), a massage from a hottie to a not so hot, but always a happy ending. One place really objected to my limit but eventually came around. Some never questioned it.
Now in both MGM locations I freely admitted that I'd not been there before but that I visit massage spas frequently.
OK, my first stop was the MGM Athletic place on the bypass. It never happened. Principally due to their greed. She quoted me $80 for the hour, which she eventually dropped to $70 (due to my strong protest). I knew many here said it was only a massage and if so I wasn't going to waste additional monies on them. Is that their normal price or was she trying to get an out of towner for a few extra dollars?
Onward to Millbrooks Royal. My GPS took me left off Congress onto Wall St, not right as it should have, so I spent time driving around. I finally found the address but the name on the outside wall was different. Also the open sign was not on which required a call. Fortunately the phone was posted in the window. They answered and said come on it.
Momma led me to a room only to have Sarah redirect me to another room. Sarah claims to have only been there 3 days but I seem to recall hearing her name mentioned. Maybe a new Sarah? This Sarah had a heavily painted up face of a woman of about 50 but a nice body under a short dress.
So I give up my $60 house fee and off to the shower we go. It was the quickest TS I ever had, literally 7 min from out of my room to return. Both the TS and massage was equally unimpressive, short quick rubs with an occasional ass bump. Never once touched my goodies but did carefully circle them. She did strategically place her upper thiehs where I could feel them (on my legs, arms and hands), which led me to reason that things were available. But she also said it ($60 fee) was ONLY for a 40 min rub. I decided that unless she really got the boys attention then I was just going to bail when she said that was all.
Well time came up and nothing was stirring so I got dressed to leave. She was disappointed that the $40 change that I left on the table got scooped up. She even specifically asked for a tip. I was not shy in telling her no way and that this place was far out of line compared to other places that I frequent. I wanted to tell the same to Momma but she was not to be seen again.
Yup, 39 min I was out the door. Is that also normal for this place?
So now I have $140 change. Whatever can I do with it?
MGM gents, if you want better then you need to let them no means no, and shop elsewhere.

I'm amazed that Royal was like that, I was there about a week ago and Momma did say $60 for 40 minutes, but I was back there for an hour +. Maybe I just look so pathiec that they just hook me up. As far as I know there's only one Sarah and you describe her to the tee, very surprised there as well, for she is so playful and will grab the boys very quickly. I guess YMMV applies here. If you are up this way again, give them another try.
I'm sure that had I fallen victim to Sarahs' charms and grabbed / licked her then things would have picked up, but I'm older / wiser (and accustomed to younger / hotter ladies for the same / less monies). I was going to let her take the initiative AND earn it or go elsewhere. Which is what I eventually did.

And NO, you can freely ask for the other gal, you're not married to Sarah and owe her nothing.

[/QUOTE]I have not been impressed with the Royal in many years, since Sunny was there (that was prob 10 years ago). Since Sunny left or retired it has been a circuit of older AMP girls with a crappy attitude. Check out my report a few months ago when the Royal was reborn again and my report before then. I can understand D Squared's enthusiasm for the AMP but I think the first time he visits one with 4 or 5 beautiful ladies 20 and 30 years old to choose from that know how to tease and please, he will be in AMP heaven. Those places are getting harder to find.
MGM Athletic had a couple of really beautiful girls in there the couple of times that I went. They were very friendly but reserved. I think they are trying to keep it on the straight and narrow. They do have a nice touch though. For the best massage (sorry no HE) there is the Accupressure place.
Sorry it was a bust. I would have spent my money at MGM Athletic just for the beautiful company or the Accupressure place for a great massage.
So it appears that Royals requested donation of $60 for 40/45 min. has been confirmed. Also confirmed are additional services are available for additional donations.
