Great advice. Only after you have had first hand experience, can you make the right decision for you. They are both great, but there are enough differences to make most people choose one over the other.

This gives you and idea how bad LV can be for a newbie to the hobby scene there. What ever you do, don't waste your time going to the brothels outside of town. A long drive out to nowhere for the most overpriced average girls. Almost like driving down the road to Hana to spend $400 to spend some time with a hotel street hooker.

It's a shame that Sin City is so lame in the sin department. Read the Las Vegas thread. It's not simple like BKK. Things change rapidly, LE is aggressive, the Casino Girls are generally ripoffs, and it's best to get the most recent info from the guys who live there. The TER reviews have some limitations, since I know for sure there are shills posting too.

You may even need to PM the guys. They are so paranoid, they don't post names or addresses in many cases. Stupid, since LE knows as soon as they register the businesses. That's what pops up on the radar, not the posts.

Vegas AMPs are nothing like Hawaii's. HJs are usually the most you'll get. Incall places are a better but can sometimes be harder to find. Last time I was there I think LE started to crack down on incalls and my usual place on Arville closed shop.

Don't go. The area is called Pahrump. There are several (Chicken Ranch, Sheri's, Cherry Patch). Mostly, they just suck. The good one's, if any, will ask for the moon. Try $500 to $1,000 for an average to below average provider. You can bargain, but the whole atmosphere stinks.

Be careful in Vegas, unfortunately, most of the numbers posted on CL and other sites are agencies. Typically, some girl answers the phone and some other chick shows up at your hotel. They are never like the pictures or even close and will ask for 2.5+ just to show up(they will usually sell it as "I just need to get the fee out of the way and we can have fun"), from there they will start listing some rediculous prices such as 6.0 for BJ, to 5k for FS. The sad thing is that even the ugly ones try to quote that. Never pay up front for anything if they follow that scheme or better yet, if you even suspect it is an agency, hang up. I have gotten lucky with some advertisements in the yellow pages and the local papers but even then I was looking at 3.0 for CFS from average to below-average looking providers.

AMPs are basically a waste of time as someone else mentioned, they can't even compare to the HI AMPs. Apartment-style incall places have been shut down by a recently very aggressive LE. My fav was just shut down last month and it wasn't even near the Arville strip. These can also be somewhat sketchy because you are not in the relative security of your hotel(though some places used to also offer outcall for twice the price).

Don't even bother with driving around picking up SW's unless you are experienced, armed and brave/crazy, especially down Boulder Hwy/
Fremont at night.

Overall, IMHO, vegas is not a good place to monger unless you have the cash. Better quality escorts start at 1k/hour so that should give you some idea of price range. I think it is easier to meet non-pros in the clubs and take them back to your room.

Read the LV section of the forum and you can get a better idea of what to expect and how to minimize your chance of getting jacked(not in the good way) or worse. TER seems to be popular with the more experienced mongerers but I somehow never can schedule with the ones I picked from there so I can't offer any personal advice. Good luck.

BTW, prostitution is illegal in Clark County which is basically the Vegas Strip and surrounding areas, the brothels are about two hours drive from the strip and not worth it from what I've heard.

Me, she thought I was some rich japanese guy so she started me off at $1500. She brought it all the way down to $600. She was a pam anderson look alike with a bod to match. I tend to disagree a little. Yeah Vegas can be expensive for mongering but most times for me it cost the same for an AMP here $$. I average about eight trips a year to sin city and have hooked up with girls off CL and off the street. If your staying downtown check out Fremont street. Lots of girls walking around albiet not all working girls. If you got your mojo working maybe you can get some for free. Check it out after 2:00 am, last trip was two weeks ago, I was approached by two girls who qouted me $.50 for two of them. Granted not the prettiest nor the ugliest but what a deal especially if your ahead on your bankroll.

How was the service from the street walkers, casino girls and freelancers? I have always found them pretty crappy in the service department. They know they will probably only see you once, have no one to answer to, and therefore have nothing to lose. There are many Casino girls that are basically office gals, who try to make a score on the weekends, and go back home.

I do agree, you can get many of them down to $$. Even on the Strip. I have yet to meet one I could recommend, so I can't call them a deal. But, hey, it's just a difference of opinion and that's what this board is all about. Only one way to find out if it's for you .. try it.

I guess I am getting too picky. For me, the quality of girls that I have seen who will go down to 2 is too low for my standards. I prefer/expect my girls in Vegas to be at least a 7 on my scale or I feel I might as well spend the money mongering at home.
