Went looking today and started a search at about 3pm today over on obt starting at 528 and went north on obt. Saw a young looking BSW just south of oakridge and man she was dressed to get attention but LEO spooked me as they were just around the corner. Don't beleive it was a setup or anything, just couldn't pull over without being noticed. I then saw a bbw SW about 1 mile further down but she kept crossing back and forth everytime I turned around. Went back out tonight around 9 and scoped out e50 to obt, then south all the way to 528, not a single SW to be found.

Nothing on E50, NOBT or Lee, and not much worth writing home about on OBT south of 50 to the 528 either (except for LEO being EVERYWHERE). If you were desperate enough, you would have found something, but there aren't enough bags at Georgia-Pacific to shield their faces from your eyesight; even if they are positioned face-down on your lap. By 3:30, the only talent I saw was a BSW who hangs out on N Edgewater from time to time by the name of Taleisha. I stopped to give her a lift, but when she got in, she was so stressed-out from being kicked to the curb by her BF / Pimp that I suffered major shrinkage from listening to the soap opera. In any event, I was writing to see if anyone thought it would be worthwhile to just rent a room at the Universal Suites or another hotel. I understand many of the girls do call the hotel "home" and I thought I would find more success just hanging out in the lobby (?) or even outside my room and monitoring the parking lot for girls returning home.

Tribal 69 was a very experienced monger as well and a few years ago He got the shit beat out of him on the trail and he had a long recovery.

Yeah the service is cheap on the trail and we have all taken stupid chances and for the most part gotten away with it. Unfortunately the society is becoming more violent, these thugs know they have very little chance of getting caught.

Money means nothing if your severely injured or dead. Except to pay the Hospital bill or for your funeral.

It's old advice but it still holds true, stay in control, don't go anywhere the SW directs you especially her room. If you do it in the car make sure you pick the spot not her in that "really safe spot that she knows". If you take her to a Motel-drive a little and go to the Geneva where somebody is always watching what's going on.

Let me say I've BROKEN every one of these rules at one time or the other and frankly have done even worse things. I've been lucky but eventually the law of averages catches up to you and if and when it does all hell breaks loose. I've had several close calls.

Now for me at least the risk factor is not worth the danger rush. I wonder how many guys have been robbed who don't come to this board to report, my guess is plenty and the thugs know they're not going to the cops and unless by pure happenstance the cops catch them in the act, nothing can or will be done.

Personally I don't think carrying a gun is the answer because unlike on TV if you shoot somebody your life will change forever whether you are right or wrong.

I once almost had a bad experienced as I met a thin blonde headed SW on the trail and Rio. She suggested I pull in to the Mel Motel right near. I thought about it and looped around then came back and turn down Rio, as I drove dwn I past the motel. Right as I passed all these D-boys. 1 every 10 yards from each other on the left and right near the motel start yelling at me and started running up to the car, as if one didn't catch me then next would. I always keep something on me but do not want to every see a bad situation. I the F out of there and was ready to run one over till I was on the next main road and turned. I never really knew what happen that day, but I always am very aware and try not to go to a SW's location, never knowing what might happen to go down. You should always pick the location and avoid sketchy, even though most are characters. Staying Safe, Being Wary.

Went out hunting today around 10:30 this morning. Cruised by the Old Cheney area and saw nothing so I headed to the trail. Down the trail past Gore, Kaley, Michigan and on to the 39th area, nothing till 41st where I spotted an interesting hooded SW sitting on a bench around 11:00. Did a couple loops because she was on the move heading south past 43rd. Street. Finally just before the plaza she caught on that I'd been circling and came over to get in by the storage place.

You have four options:

1. Take them for a car date - Uncomfortable, cheap feeling to it, danger of LEO or ripoff coming upon you, evidence could be found in your car later.

2. Take them to your home if you're single - Then they know where you live and that could be bad, very bad.

3. Get a room somewhere - The best option, but not the cheapest option. You see SW's because of the smaller dent upon the wallet. After you've paid $50 for the room and her gift, you might as well see a BP girl. Many of the BP girls offer $100hh, sometimes less. Usually that's all the time a SW will give you anyhow, most want you gone in ten minutes.

4. Go to her room - most of the time it's "Hooray, she has a room that I don't have to pay for. This is great!" Unless you have the experience that Surf had.

So, you have four options that all have risks involved. I don't know which option is the safest. Maybe you guys have a take on things.

One thing you can do if you're going to her room. Make damn sure the deadbolt is locked securely. You also want to lock that metal door latch as well. Even the cheapest motels have this feature. Maybe it could've helped Surf or maybe not. They would have had to force the door open if it was locked this way. That could bring more attention to themselves.

You should have your cell phone with you also. I'd be inclined to go ahead and call 911 if someone was trying to beat the door down. I'd rather try to explain why you were there to LEO, than to be staring down the barrel of a gun wielded by some crack-head. My. 02.

I think I saw her Sat night, only because from your descriptions but the problem was that LE was parked in the Navy / Army store when I saw her. Saturday night was actually pretty active for as cold as it was. I 1st went to the Racecar for gas & saw a decent blond, but by the time I went in & came back out she was gone.

This was after my date with Cherry on BP (see review) so I was just window shopping, was in a rental & didn't feel comfortable making a pickup)

Than I proceeded south on OBT, saw a few decent ones but that brunette & a taller blond (about 5-7ish) were the best pickings I saw.

My. 02.[/QUOTE]I used to be a regular surfer back in the early 90's and never really had a fear of anything bad happening, there were a few close calls with LEO during my scoops but I always seemed to skate out with no problems. The biggest issue I had was that the girls wanted me to blow my load quicker.

Today I seem to have no problem blowing my load quick and find myself worried about getting popped and the consequences of such, then I hear these stories and I wonder if this hobby is worth it as you say the law of averages is bound to catch up to you at some point. I posted ealier about my encounter with a girl named Ikea and I broke a rule and went to her suggested spot, after the fact I reealized how stupid that was and was thankful all went well. That is probably their LE check. It also makes it more likely that the victim does not report it. It seems unlikely that LE would consumate a pay4play in order to sting robery suspects. They probably like the idea that this story is out there amoung mongers as it is a deterent for otherwise law abiding mongers.

One trick I learned in the late 80's. I carry a rubber door stop in my vehicle, if I go to a SW's room or anyones hotel room I stick the door stop under the door as an aditional lock. If nothing else it provides me a extra sense of well being and I can enjoy the experience. A 3 dollar item that provides extra security and piece of mind.

Don't let all these accurate reports steer you the wrong way when it comes to enjoying a monger's life; follow the advice found here, and seek the services of confirmed QUALITY providers (both SW's and CG's alike). You will find that low-rent providers can be as good as those who advertise, it's just that they are not very good when it comes to having business-sense. (Their loss is your wallet's benefit! LOL.)

Is it me or since SW Surfer had his incident this thread has died. This is one of the best threads on this board and it is a shame to see where it is the last 2 weeks. Have all the members quit surfing? Have they stopped reporting? It is still safe for the majority as long as we follow the rules.

He was out on the road alot and made some definite finds. XX and QO also have made contributions. It seems that we all have slowed down, maybe it is the economy, or ATF's. To be honest I haven't seen any SW's in east orlando for quite sometime. I was on lee Road not to long ago and did'nt see a one. Saw quite a few SW's weeks ago during my visit with Maria on SOBT. They were all hanging arount the hotel. Doesn't mean were not playing, just not surfing as much. When SW business slows down they either move on or start robbing you. Got to buy that dope.
