I will say as badly as warren wanted to rid itself of the parlors, if it has reopened, I am definitely taken aback that the city issued them a new license knowing full well what it will turn into. As far as tiger I doubt it will reopen there, most of that crew is in Michigan and that area was designated as a renewal area. But where's there one more should follow, there like weeds it's more a a question If a new place can reach the lofty standards of tiger. When it was two choice, sunny was second fiddle but even that is better than what exists now. Intriguing for sure.

I drove by the old Sunny building today. I didn't see any "open" signs lit up out front facing the road, but when I pulled into the parking lot, sure enough, there's one on the side of the building. No cars though. And I didn't go in yet.
I pulled in to Tiger and there's no open signs or cars there. There is still a sign on the door that says something like "Yuki, I miss you, Cleveland Dave", LOL.
Stopped by Sun spa yesterday. Three cars in the lot. Was told to come back later. Appears as it was in the past. Drove over to Tiger spa, still dark, but fence has been fixed that was falling down. Hopefully it will reopen. Didn't have time to go back to sun spa, but will try it hopefully next week or so.

Lord knows I had done my part to keep both Sun and Tiger in business. It does beg the question as to what was all the effort and money invested by LE intended to accomplish.
I hope Tiger is on the short list to reopen.

The words probable cause do not exist in Trumbull county! They pretty much have set the stage for warrant with general suspicion. The raids last year were political posturing because of the may election in hopes of distraction. It was also for the money. After the results didn't go their way, no more reason to bother the massage parlors, because this year there is no election.

The intent was not to shut it down, they need them to be open so they can get another bust in the future to get their funding. The early 2010's bust was for profit and the 2023 bust was for a distraction. If they need to raid it again theyll let it operate for a while and do no enforcement at all for months or years and then raid when they need to make themselves look good. Same concept as drug enforcement when a police levy needs renewed, they don't want the big fish, they want the middle of the road guy that they can take an ounce bag it up in 28 individual baggies, put it in the news, and make it look like they are doing something to make the voters feel safer. Rinse, repeat. That's how its gone since 1972.

How does this all work?[/QUOTE]I don't know about Sunny Spa but the case from Tiger has not been dismissed nor is there any activity. The forfeiture of cash by all the people involved was enormous. The Tiger Spa people were told that there would never be new permits for massage issued for Warren ever again. They surmise that Sun is going raw dawg with no massage permit.
