I've reported some methods for getting intel on a girl, and some have thought it too creepy. I'll give you a rationale for doing it.

Many POTs want to text so you get their # right away. I had a monger FB page (same info as my SA profile) for a while, but FB asked me to I'd validate so it doesn't work anymore. However, I have a page for a dormant business I can log onto and it still works for searches. It amazes me that like 75% of the #s I enter take me right to her page. What do I get there? I get to see her real pictures, so if she is only sharing headshots, I can tell if she's thick. I can also download them. It is way more likely they have EXIF and GPS data that will be useful for me to validate she is who she says.

When I am done there, I am sure to clear my search history. You really do not want FB to start suggesting your business to girls you've been sleuthing. They say your search history is private, but that means private from the world, not from FB.

I agree that you can't use the info you get this way much in the actual relationship w / her. You should also think about all I've said about finding the girl's info, and make sure she can't do the reverse to find the real you.

If you have a beauty that you wish to show at conventions, meet-ups, the local drive-in, you may not wish to have your tags on display for every collector or thief to find you and hassle you or steal your ride. So you buy one of these, install it and hide your tag during the show or meet up. Also, who wants their car with tag photographed at such a meeting and then displayed all over the 'net?

But 1) Few cops are going to notice it as long as your tag is showing 2) Having it isn't illegal as long as valid plate is showing when you are operating on public roads 3) Most cops in high crime areas have more pressing needs than stopping someone for plates. But, hey, there is always a few d*ck heads out there, so nothing is 100%. But hopefully one is only hiding plate from SB and her camera phone for as long as she can capture it, then going back to legal.

Now there ARE an increasing number of cameras out there scanning your plate. Sigh. In fact today, I was coming back from a date and took a route through the local stroll just for fun. But sheet! Before I had this kind of tool, I just made sure I parked in a less conspicuous location. So yeah, Barney Fife might notice such, but if you are parked on private property it would seem one has broken no laws. You need to display a proper plate to operate on public roadways. Me thinks one could demonstrate in whatever court, that they have a valid plate and LE has no evidence that a car parked, was indeed operated on a public roadway with an invalid plate. (Where is the evidence of such? As far as I know, the law isn't based on "inference. ") LE can always do whatever they want whether it is legal or not. Sometimes one has to just stand up for themself in the judicial system and beat back these over reaches.
