It's not just one thing though, there are plenty of reasons.

Single men are at the highest rate they ever have been and the demand is driving the price up.

Women going to college and providing for themselves is at the highest rate, reducing the girls needing to rely on "other methods" for their income.

A low unemployment rate which I don't consider that large of a factor, but it doesn't help. If women are participating in the labor force they don't need to post an ad.

Onlyfans and online companionship. It's all too common and unbelievable, but still true. Dudes paying for pics, cam dates, video chatting and messaging. There's a whole market share of dudes doing this. I've heard it from a bunch of different ladies.
