I figured my original post about Halo might get backlash; I'm just surprised it took so long. Anyway Dxter, since you felt the need to voice your opinion, I think I will point out a few things.

While I believe some people are born with advantages over others (social status, economic status, quality upbringing, etc). The real heart of the problem is the fact that almost all the time people end up in the positions they are in BECAUSE OF THE CHOICES THEY THEMSELVES HAVE MADE. There are countless examples of either extreme. People that have come from broken homes and gone on to be successful, and people that have come from wonderful backgrounds that have gone on to be complete losers. WHERE A PERSON GOES IN LIFE DEPENDS ON THE CHOICES THEY MAKE.

Nobody was holding a gun to Halo's head to make her get in my car. Or hundreds of other mongers cars for that matter. She was offering services for money. I actually paid a bit more than she was asking. I always treated her (and any other sex worker) with kindness and respect. If you were to watch the videos I have of her, you would see her smiling, casually talking, etc. Not in any distress. If at any time SHE WANTED TO MAKE A CHOICE to be out of that lifestyle, she could have simply walked several blocks north to a church and asked for help. Or a hospital, or a police station. I'm sure any one of these agencies could have at least steered her to some type of organization for help. Help is out there. So no, I don't feel sorry for her or feel guilty because "I contributed to her misery" as you say.. That is what SHE CHOSE TO DO at that time. If anything, I helped in her endeavors. For a short time, I got her out of the elements, away from the street dangers, and provided cash for the candy SHE CHOSE TO TAKE.

I truly hope she can keep her shit together, but as I said before, I will be right there if she relapses and comes back.providing the cash for what SHE CHOSES TO DO in exchange for her services. Her problem isn't much different than gambling or obesity. Many people can kick their habits, but it is truly a rare thing to shake a habit for life.

In conclusion, let me remind you Dxter, that you are on a website that discusses various aspects of paying women for sex. If you don't like it, don't read it. Perhaps you have found your personal Jesus.if so, that's wonderful, but you probably shouldn't criticize others. And keep your opinions to yourself (up your own ass). If you do have the uncontrollable urge to spout off, at least do so in the correct thread (motorcity mayhem). That's probably asking to much of you though, as I'm sure you voted for Hillary.

I tried that about a year ago I was texting her then got a text back with my number in the message asking someone to check the number. Luckily they sent the text to the wrong person. I ditched that phone immediately and have never tried that again up there. Good luck to your friend keep up informed.
