Went up to Maine this weekend for the Tough Mudder and before I left I went to the Maine Forum and looked to see if there was anything of note up there other than the scenery. There is a club in Portland called PT's (part of a national chain) and the event so happened to be occurring in the next town. I went up Friday and checked into my hotel and was driving to the nearby shopping center to grab some supplies for the next day and saw the sign for the club, it was right behind my hotel!! I decided to scope out the place that night after dinner.

Went inside and was greeted by the girl by the door and was charged the $10 entry. I gave her a $20 and she gave me 5 $2 bills which I found odd, and a red ticket in the event that I had to leave and come back in. Inside it was big, but almost pitch black (cliche' strip club lighting). The girls were decent looking, nothing like the girls we have here. There was no patron interaction at the stage and the girls mainly worked the pole and writhed on the floor between snatching up their tips and returning to the center of the stage. They had the main stage and a smaller (6 x6 if I'd have to say. It was a small ass stage) stage off to the side that the girls would go to when they got off the main stage. I Followed one of the hotter girls from the main to the second stage and then she asked me for a dance. I went to the dance area with her and the guy took $5 off of me and gave me a wristband for the night (rather that the $5 each song at Desire (25 dance) or the $5 included in the dance price at Foxy and Caddy ($20/$30 to the girl and $5 to the house)). The girl gave me a HHLD for 3/4 of a song for $25. Also that night they had a Freakshow thing which I left before it started. I was very disappointed I got no action whatsoever.

After the Tough Mudder I was sore and bored. After dinner I went back to PT just to relax, have a few drinks, stare at tits, and maybe get a massage from one of the "rub girls". Cons: less attractive girls, shitty atmosphere, shitty lap dances, girls don't appreciate good tipping, AND NO EXTRAS.

I only mention these few because they are the closest clubs if you are from RI. Went to CD's Sat. Night and that place was packed to the doors and must have had 50 girls on second shift. I've had a few air dances but a lot more very good LD's there. The dancers in general tend too much toward the "amazon" look, big and hefty girls, than I like, but there are often one or two 9's present (in my opinion). As for "extras," I've had only one girl pretty directly hint of them; my sense is that they're few and far between.

This place should be packed during the daytime with dancers of this quality. Another reason to go during the day = nobody looking in at you while getting dances. At night there is a woman who looks into all the lapdance booths once or twice PER SONG. That's crazy. I can see that keeping customers away big time. The $30 price can also keep customers away.

I stopped into Club Desire Thursday right before going to Fantasies. I was only there 10 minutes, in which time I saw about 10 dancers. Only two were thin, and only one was thin and attractive (the other thin one was tall but had a face like Celine Dion, and not in any attractive sense). There's usually good contact dances to be had at CF and CD. Slightly better rate per dance and more privacy for regular lap dances at CD, but at CF you'll get a lot more attention when you tip a dancer a few bucks while she's dancing then you will at CD. If you don't mind the fact that you are out in public, I've seen dancers on stage at CF giving the kind of attention to stageside seated customers that at other clubs would pass for a lap dance. FL has some really hot dancers, but I've had some of the worst lap dances I've had at a RI club at FL so it's hard to recommend them for dances, though I don't go enough to be a regular, maybe things would be different don't know don't have the money to find out. CL has some hot dancers I just don't like their layout. Prefer more privacy when getting a lap dance even though it's just a dance.

Visited CL on the weekend during the day. Club wasn't too busy, maybe 7 dancers. Houston, a petite black dancer with large (though fake) breasts was quite fun. Overall, Talent seems to have declined here from a year ago, though.

Just one funny thing; after my LD, one of the youngsters who I'd turned down for a LD said to the girl (Monica?) who actually gave me the dance that I was too stuck up for everyone there. Which made my dancer crack up, because she didn't even have to hustle me.

Sorry I give off that vibe, though. It's not the first time I've had dancers I've turned down have little hissy fits like that. Is that a normal part of their schtick for everyone, or am I doing something wrong? I once had a dancer chastise me for tipping her at stage and then turning her down for a dance. Like, she came over afterwards and formally scolded me. I assume it is part of their hustle, to make you feel awful for saying no thank you, but I do wonder if I'm breaking some etiquette rules or something. I tip a buck a song at the stage, even if I don't actually like the dancer. Does that behavior give a mixed message?

It comes down to the girls being too full of themselves and not liking to be told no. I had a girl come up to me out of the blue a few years back and ask me to get a LD and I declined and she got pissy with me for having the audacity to say no.

On the other side of that coin, I can not stand when I tip generously on the stage and show interest and the girl mentions a LD and then ignores me the rest of the night.

Its the ones that hustle the wrong way and get denied that get pissy in my experience. A year ago we had a discussion on this thread about proper etiquette and customer relations when it comes to the girls interacting with the patrons. Many of them can not sell themselves correctly and that in turn makes guys not want to get dances and makes the girls upset.

You say no, so now she's got nothing to lose by trying to nag you into changing your mind. Unless there are other prospects for her to hit on.

Was there last night at least 8 girls working and also a very cute rub girl.

If anything complete opposite of what you say cause the nights I have been there always more girls than customers but I usually leave by 11 pm.

I don't think the girls are anything below average. I have been to other clubs and some of the girls from those clubs work at Doll House.

If he's the mayor do you think thinks will go back to what they used to be?
