Headed to LV in Three Weeks.
All I have to say, as a DC senior, is that the choices are completely overwhelming!
Sex island definitely a scam
This scam has been talked about for years now but seems to keep popping up with new iterations of their website. I cant believe people still fall for it actually never mind, i can believe it
I want to provide personal testimony for Sex Island Halloween Party Oct 29-Nov 1. I read all the reviews and things online, but didn't really believe it to be honest especially since some people and articles said it happened, so I decided to take a risk and see if it is a scam or not. Paid the $4500 via bitcoin, then booked a flight to Las Vegas coming in on 29th around 11 am and leaving on 1st. Sent them the flight confirmation like they said. No responses via email. I assumed perhaps this is all discretionary so still decided to fly in despite no emails from anyone from sexisland. Got there, decided to wait several hours and assumed that if people were on this trip, I'd see signs with names. My name wasn't on any paper, surprisingly no one was there with any names held up. Emailed them and then proceeded to sit around for two hours and saw nothing still besides your usual Las Vegas tourists. After two hours of waiting and no show, finally booked a hotel and ubered there. Flew out on Monday and didn't meet / see anyone who looked like they went. A load of disappointment and wasted money.
I flew spirit, so maybe that was a turn off to them, but I should have at least received an email stating it was cancelled or something but no email correspondence from them at all. Disappointing. Please do not book. Thanks.
