It 's a Swiss company that will let you set up an email without even asking your name. Basic service is free. Then I bought a Tracphone at Walmart with cash. Also bought some cards for service, again with cash. Using my new email and some minor fibs about my name and address, I set up an account with Tracphone. Pretty involved, I agree, but this point, there is no way that phone number can be traced back to me.

Of course all this anonymity is totally useless if Uncle LEO has a place staked out and gets my license number.
