There are people on TER floating the suggestion that a prepaid cell and an anonymous visa gift card could be a work-around. Guess it depends on how diligent CL really wants to be.

It looks like that CL will be making everyone who puts an ad or ads with them in the erotic section do it with a credit card and phone number. We'll just have to wait and see. The way I understand it there is really nothing for CL to enforce. The point of the new system is to make the information available, by subpoena, in case either federal or local LE wants to prosecute a particular case.
