Times change. Prices go up as time progresses. That is how the world works. Ten years from now, it will be even more expensive. You can afford the new prices, but you are simply not willing to wait and save up for quality. If you cannot patiently wait, perhaps you should instead be saving up to seek help about it. K-girl agencies based there were charging 300/450 / 600 for 1, 1. 5, and 2 hrs respectively. So when I moved back to the DMV for work & saw the exact same rates for agencies based here, I didn't question it. And while I've been to my fair share of AMPs, I've never been one to try my luck at an Asian or Latin CS. Figured the increased prices at an agency was worth it for the "near" guarantee in quality & relatively smooth operation in place.

I had hoped that the market would kinda reset during & after COVID. But I think the average monger was too thirsty & anxious to get back at it, even if many providers were charging the same or increased rates. A bummer, but not unexpected.

If some people are willing and able to pay a price, someone will be able to take advantage of that. The monger will pay and in the process they'll skew the market and ruin it for everyone else. From everything from booze, to sneakers, to stocks, to our hobby, etc.

" If you are talking about decades ago or something, then maybe you have a point. But the prices at the K-girl shops, xoc, and other mid / mid-high tier places have remained the same or increased slightly. The largest change has been in independent providers moving their prices up which always happens as the market finds new equilibrium. High-end escorts / agencies have increased their prices as well such that NoVa is reaching the lower end of prices in Cali and New York, which would make some logical sense.

No one cares about the prices a decade or two ago when NoVa standard of living was half what it is now, or the fact that NoVa is now a major metropolitan tech corridor for the US. For at least the past five years, the going rate for mid-tier escorts has been 400-500. I am seeing some price creep there but that seems to be due to the lower tier girls being able to legitimately get similar prices to that. In general, and I'm not singling you out at all, but it feels like many mongers just complain about the fact that girls are charging the market rate for services in a wealthy area of the country. Airfare can range from 90 to 325 depending on airline and airport. Stay at Hong Kong two nights with VIP membership is 130 total. We have increased demand with lower supply, prices move up. Inflation is a bish, too.

The rate increases are intentional. They are consciously attempting to filter out men who complain about rates because such men are more likely to be cheap, classless, misogynistic, or dirty. It is similar what you would expect in the same way a very cheap hooker is probably ugly and has hygiene issues like the prospects off of Escort Alligator, STG, and crapshoots.
