Why would anyone send money up front to meet a girl? First, as I read here there is no way to send money without revealing your real name. Seems too easy to have that bit of "info" out there for anyone to discover it: LE, SO or future SOs, employers and scammers. Oh and then their is indentity theft. Remember a few years ago, where sum scammers set up fake ads, when guys texted, they created a website that was easily searchable or easily found via search engines and called it 'Exposing Johns' or similar. So all you're wife, friends, employer or kids had to do was Google your number and found your texts on the site with that name.
Then of course is the real probability this is just a scam and the girl gets the money and goes dark. No guarantee she would show up.

I know because I dated her two years ago, I was baited by the pics which were different fake pics then and then when I knocked on the door and she opened and saw her face I said to myself damn not this girl.
