What you want might be valid and not out of the norm either. If it is in reason we will understand that but if you act arrogant, cocky, snippy or just a plain asshole then you have to understand you just ruined it for YOURSELF and you have no one to blame but YOURSELF.

4. Posting YOUR ratings on US - I am getting tired of you guys rating us when we need to rate YOU so we don't get the negative customers which spirals our day downhill very quickly. Depending on how much of a response I get with this I think I am going to create a web site where providers can go to rate you guys and tell of their experiences.

5. Your unspoken conspiracy - I think you all seem to think you have some kind of control over this industry by thinking to yourselves;

a) if we black ball all the providers we don't like then the providers will see that they have to cater to us and do whatever we want out of fear.

b) since we are the customer we are alway right.

c) It is our money and we can do what we want with it.

d) If nothing else works then I can just say I'll call the police. That'll scare them.

Finding a good provider is like finding a good lawyer or an auto mechanic. Sometimes it is hard and I can understand that. But, If you find a good one and they do a good job them then KEEP THEM! If for what ever reason you didn't like them (for personal preference reasons only) then just take your licks and move on.

Guys if you want to rate someone as bad that is fine but just ask yourself first if it was your fault or ours.

**** No provider is going to work for very long if they keep doing a bad job so doesn't it make sense that they don't want to piss off customers.

Quick comment: on a visit with one of my favorite AMP girls years ago, overcome by a moment of weakness, I asked her if she liked me. She replied, "Yes, you're very kind.''

[Color=DarkBlue]Mt, I think I'd probably be speaking for the majority of the guys on this site if I were to tell you that we're all too familiar with the sorts of customers you mentioned in your (inaugural) post. In fact, we've had the distinct "pleasure" of experiencing their presence second-hand sometimes, as they make their presence known via their loud mouths and obnoxious behavior when they visit. (Yes, it [u]does[/u] tend to diminish our experience when one of those boors visits. We feel sorry for the poor gal that draws the jerk.)

We want to have a good time --- and, hopefully, a mutually good time --- when we patronize your place of business. Most of us try to treat our providers with more than just a modicum of respect and with the understanding that they've probably seen a few other customers (and probably had to deal with one or two jerks) that day. That's why most of us, I hope, are willing to cut a lot of slack if our provider just doesn't seem to be her usual self on a given visit.

That said, there unfortunately are some providers --- and we've all run into one of them --- who don't just [u]lack[/u] customer service skills, they don't even [u]care[/u] to give good service. There are two primary reasons this forum exists: [b](1)[/b] Let other, trusted mongers know about the true blue gals, and [b](2)[/b] alert the mongers to the truly awful gals. Beyond that, it's all shades of gray. Sure, we'll provide our subjective ratings, and some gals (like some beers and automobiles) get higher points than others. That doesn't mean we won't ask for the gals that score lower. All of us have our favorites (...though we [b]ALL[/b] may want to test drive the Ferrari). And, let's not kid ourselves: The gals at every spa I've visited [u]have a rating system of their own[/u] by which they rate the customers. It's just not in a website form...yet. That's one of the reasons, according to one gal I know, that mamasan uses the "next up" system for the staff. Unless a customer calls or specifically requests a particular gal. The gals know who the Diamond Jim Bradys are among us mongers. After all, we don't all tip quite the same way, nor have the same good looks, nor require the same "care and feeding" as another monger.

But your points are legitimate and well-taken. Just as it is in your business, a couple bad apples among us can sour some of your associates and give them the impression that all of us are, at the core, the same way. Trust us, we're not, and we have contempt for the same jerks that you unfortunately have to deal with. Were it not for the fact that Jackson often deletes the accounts and posts of the jerks who visit [u]this[/u] board, you'd see how we tend to deal out a certain amount of "virtual rough justice" to them. So, take heart and know that you are appreciated by most of us. [u]very much[/u] appreciated, in fact. Love, and...

A little goes a long way.[/QUOTE]Wow, the command of English displayed in the Magical Touch letter is totally unlike anything I have ever heard in an AMP. Can we get a name of the author please! That would be an interesting massage.

...that one who has been here in the business for over 15 years has learned American-English, just as MT has shown.

Many of the older providers and managers are US citizens or LEGAL immigrants who have been here many years. I imagine some probably have higher education than some of us do too.

Now, the younger ones we like to play with may well be "fresh off the boat" and not have the American-English skills of their bosses. That is okay too!

I won’t do a lot of talking here for obvious reasons but if anyone wishes to create a dialog OF ANY KIND; comments, concerns, compliments or complaints I can be reached at magical-touch at comcast dot net but you will have to identify yourself with your screen name from here so I know who I am talking to. Don’t be upset if I don’t respond right away. Please, I won't answer stupid questions like can I see pics of the girls, etc.

I think you’ll find that we are surprisingly different for other AMP’s (just by me placing my identity on here would show that). If I am going to stay competitive I will need to pull from many resources. I will welcome your emails.

(snip) Think twice before you post! [/QUOTE]As someone who has practiced this hobby for a few years, I'd like to say that I have always tried to treat the girls with kindness. I have sought out the nice girls and didn't repeat with the not-so-nice girls. I doubt if I could have ever gotten my money back or received a freebee or discount after a bad experience.

I would also like to point out that I have always objected to hobbyists/posters using racist terms to describe Asians. Therefore, I object to the derogatory religious/cultural reference above. I was raised within a different religion, but I don't like that phraseology.

Finally, a few years ago, I met a semi-pro Broadway-style dancer/college student. She objected to concept of critics because she didn't like anyone reviewing shows or the shows in which she performed. "What if it stinks?" I thought to myself. If some knucklehead gets funding for a musical version of "Saving Private Ryan," someone should be able to say: "This isn't good."

That's my two Korean won.

I don't think the owner wrote it. I suspect, because of the use of the many colloquial phrases, the person who writes the ads for her on CL could be the one.

That is the first time I have heard of threats to call the police at an AMP. I certainly know there are some dirtbags out there, but didn't know it was like that. I am certain that, like myself, most established mongers here do not do things like that.

The MT post holds a lot of truth. Mongers do need to treat the girls with respect. It establishes you as a good monger. AMP's do keep track of good and bad mongers. Treat them or tip them wrong and you can expect they won't want to take care of you.

The house fee is the house, it isn't necessarily their fault a girl is lazy or rushing or doesn't care. They don't necessarily know a girl is doing bad like that. If she rushed you or did something wrong, talk to whoever runs the place. If they hear enough complaints about a certain girl, they won't keep her around as she is probably keeping people from returning. They may appreciate your calm approach and the fact that you pointed out something potentially harmful to their business.

When it comes to providers, I always follow the rule that if you take care of me I will take care of you. My tip depends if a lady really takes her time, makes sure I am happy, and takes care of things the way I ask. If she does not, her tip will not be good. Of course on the other side, if she does all those she will get a really good tip. If she goes further and surpasses expectations she will get a great tip.

Visited Cosmos in Centreville yesterday and saw Mimi. Nice girl, about 5'1 or 5'2 with a little extra around the middle but not enough to be a put off. She gave a very nice TS with lots of playing with the boys and a good scrub everywhere. Back to the room for a pleasant massage with, again, lots of playing with the boys. On the flip she allowed roaming up top but not below as it was that time of the month. OK finish and clean up. Typical NOVA spa. Would go back if I was in the area, but would probably go to VP instead.

Went to a place west of tysons in an industrial park, name has more than three letters. Met Sarah. Early 40s, skinny, pretty face. Friendly and chatty, decent Engrish. She gave a very good massage, which I badly needed, then everything else you would expect from a NoVa amp. Would probably repeat.

Needed a massage. So I called Angie (the MMS) for an appointment with Ruby for before lunch on Saturday.

Usually, this is my ATF AMP.- but, Saturday was "off" for some reason.

I arrived on-time.-- left waiting at the door. And Angie was not in. When Angie is present, things run more smoothly.

Lily asked me if I could please wait 15 minutes (this is significant later). I was not in a hurry, so I said yes. And she asked me to wait in one of the massage rooms (even gave me a magazine to read.- not a good sign). Time passes. No Ruby. Lily returns (finally).- and she is going to be my provider.

Although she does not remember me until almost the end of my massage, I had seen Lily two times before (as best I can remember).

Lilly is "average attractive" 40+ Korean lady. In the past reasonably friendly.- today, actually a little hesistant. Medium length black hair, mini-skirt (jeans) medium thin with small curves.

Paid the house. 8 for an hour. Another short delay.- then off to the shower.

TS was the best part of the day.-- Water was warm.- Lilly used enough soap to make me clean. And I enjoyed the attention to the boys when I was on my stomact, and even more (and better attention) when I turned over.

Back to room.- medium massage with not much enthusiasm.- and roaming was politely declined.

On the flip. Also not really any enthusiasm.- and standard but mechanical NoVA finish.

After.- hot towel clean-up.- and then shee became chatty. And as we talked she realized I had been coming regularly for over a year.

. If only. About 5 minutes of massage more---then she helped me to dress.

I left the standard. 4 tip. And as I am leaving I noted the time.- exactly an hour since I walked in. Except 20 minutes of that time I was sitting alone.

I probably won't repeat with Lilly. And I will speak to Angie next time she is there and I visit.

Be nice to the ladies.- even when they are having an "off" day.

However, it was so mechanical, I won't be going back. I found the newer AMPs, and I doubt I'll ever go back to the old school hang outs. Sure the new places cost more, but I can do to the lunch hour meeting and I've never had a late lunch.

I spent a lot of time overseas and spoke to many people who learned English as a second language. Many of them had trouble speaking and holding conversations in English, especially those who learned very recently. I found that they could write and type English very well. Their problem was that having to think through what they learned and communicate back and forth on the spot was much more difficult than writing.

Of course I'm not saying you are wrong about the possibility that the poster isn't really MT. I'm just saying that language used in an online post isn't really much of an indicator.
