Very strange tactic used by LE. I imagine they were originally targeting the girl but were unable to entrap her through traditional means. So they decided to trick and flip an unlucky monger. I hope the damage is minimal.

It is a new tactic here anyway. Would be nice to know where...

It seems real strange and such a waste of resources staking out some low-end short stay motel on the chance they're going to catch some monger who just finished getting his knob polished.

Bringer had the best advice. You've got to suck it up and get a lawyer. He or she can work the system and tell you exactly what to do. Who knows? Maybe even get the case dropped depending on what the girl said to them. It will all be in the police report. Life ain't over! Just a thing to deal with for a while.

Get a lawyer asap.

If you said anything to the cops, it'll be in the police report. They may even include a few assumptions that will appear to be facts. AKA Fuzz Fudge.

Your lawyer will get access to the reports and you'll be able to read them. Depending on your circumstances, it's to your advantage to delay any court appearance. Your lawyer can explain. Cops have been known to out right lie on these police reports.

Lawyers are officers of the court. Present your (plausible) side and events carefully to him / her.

First offense in Hartford is community service, sex education class, and std testing. After that charges are dismissed. Even if you went for acceralerated rehabilitation they might stick on community service too. It is basically a crap shoot if they put your name in the paper or not. If it has not made the paper yet you probably have a good chance to keep this away from your family. You are actually lucky that they gave you a promise to appear instead of bail. Also they could have put a 24 hour hold on your car. I have the name of a good lawyer I will PM you.

Also there is a really bright and extremely good Attorney in the New Haven area who specializes in these matters with the Police and questioning. I have seen him in action and he is good. PM me if you want his info.

Tiger.[/QUOTE]Not related because it was a hotel and not a motel, but myself and an asian lady were kicked out of a room at the Holiday Inn East Hartford (East River Drive) a while back. The manager was really pissed and gave us five minutes to vacate the hotel or he would be calling the police.

He probably didn't, but got fed up with the constant flow of men to her room by the time you got there. You can't win I guess. The nice hotels don't want the men traffic all day and all night, and the cheap hotels have the LEO scoping them out too. Best solution? Find a nice regular provider that has a private in call. Treat her right. See her only enough to keep it interesting.

I am not going to share where with anyone, if he wants to that is his choice but I happen to live in that area and the article was exactly as he described it on this site. Really does suck because it listed his name and address etc.

They are basically using street corner tactics on a legitimate private business and harassing all of it's customers based on random complaints. This has a lawsuit written all over it.
