This is not escort or SW related just asking for advice. I got pulled over in my neighborhood for running a stop sign, which I did not. I did a complete stop for maybe 2-3 seconds and I got a ticket from the officer, he said he had it on his dash cam that I ran the sign. My lawyer put in a request for this video and they haven't gave it to him and the court date is coming up soon. I just want to know what should I do. I feel like l am being ripped off, I didn't do anything wrong.

He never mentioned a dashcam, but the cops exact words were I didn't stop long enough. So how long are you supposed to stop? When I asked that question he got real smart-assy and asked for my driver's license and insurance registration, where was I going, why was I in such a hurry. He of course took about 15 minutes to write out the ticket and bring me all my information back. Then he tailed me all the way until I left the neighborhood, which is my subdivision.

Take it all the way and if the officer isn't being truthful about having it on his dash cam he will not show up for court, a good sign for you is that he hasnt submitted any evidence for your request of discovery.

I sat and watched all the other cases too and if you haven't had any tickets or accidents in the last 2 years, I am pretty confident it gets thrown out, or at the very least you will get adjudication withheld. I have fought 1 reckless driving, 2 speeding and 2 ran stop sign tickets and they were all dismissed! I think the cops purposely make shit up just to pull people over, especially if they are in the "wrong" neighborhood just to screw with them or see if there is anything in plain sight that would lead to a search of the vehicle and arrest. You would be surprised at how many drug dealers get busted this way. Their car either smells like weed or there is something in the open that a cop can see and that gives them probable cause for a search. I doubt the cop even shows. Good luck with it.

Just make sure you have everything documented and get a dash cam for your car. You'll win every time, no question.
