I'm pretty sure all the seniors on this site will be joining you in hell. Present company included. Congrats on your exploits in the bowl off of CL.

Yeah, the economy is about to go into the tank, but remember, the damn thing never really fully recovered. The phenomenon of the bowl is partly fueled by the inability of young art history majors to find jobs.

I suspect ladies like these make up a good chunk of that part of the labor force that has completely dropped out and stopped looking for a new job.

Like I said before. It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Some are starting the pay out at $1500 per session for models.

Probably most are scams. Did see one posting for MILF companion but who knows if that is legit. My thought is if your posting and getting response from CL then your getting sex workers. Most 20 year olds seeking jobs don't look on craigslist or even know about it unless in the sex trade. Sooner or later posting jobs then trying to convert them to a sb can come back to bite you in the ass when the girl who is only interested in a job figures out what's going on.

Three unsolicited messages for me already this morning from 22 to 46 years olds. Yesterday I made a date for tomorrow night and I had to cancel another that wanted to see tomorrow night as well. But it goes in spurts. I changed my approach recently to making it clear no money until the FC. Quickly weeded out the platonic ones and the time wasters. One that said no to sex is back saying she will make sure I leave happy after our first date. So she is back on my list as a potential. I do think it will pick up even more as it did last year when Christmas season rolls around and babies need money for gifts. Still have a high number of GPS ones but new ones are online each day so move on to the next.

Just a cost of doing business in the bowl, but it would be 1 date.

Several experienced SDs have reported either in the thread or in PMs that they have had their SBs transition to a no or minimal sugar relationship after a while. I would like to know if there were any indicators early on this might happen (excepting those true masters who never promise any sugar and just gift what they feel like. We'd all like to be there but I don't have the chops). I can guess it could occur in a situation where the baby develops some feelings, or perhaps has daddy issues, or whatever. Seems more likely with a younger baby who is playing into the fantasy rather than an older seasoned mercenary. I am taking on board a new SB. If I make a guess that this is going to happen, it helps me project lower long term allowance costs (I prefer a monthly).

I'd be surprised if that strategy would work as well here.

FC trip with a civilian who was new to the bowl within a week of signing up. Not sure how long I am going to keep this one around. She is kind of needy.

Yep things will definitely pick up towards the winter. I've found that these ladies usually enter the bowl during the start of each semester, before the holidays, and at the end of the school year. Another big trigger is a bad breakup. Mentally unstable girls seem to think they are getting back at a guy by letting every Tom, Harry, and Dick, have their way with them.

It's amazing what kind of ladies the bowl attracts. I guess the same could probably be said about us sds.

Hwg had a form letter that talked about financial, emotional, and mental support (or something like that). A SD can get away with no sugar by transitioning more of one support for the other. Depending on the baby of course.

I am relatively certain that very few ladies are going to stick around for a guy who doesn't provide any type of support at all.

That is for us to work out. " This got (virtual) squeals of excitement from an artsy fartsy 22 YO blond. I am mindful also of JL's admonition that sugar is the insulation we get from emotional obligation (and also = hush money). I'd just like to keep the sugar down to a level that I can 'embezzle' it out of a household account without the SO realizing it, instead of being vulnerable to discovery only b / c of the magnitude of the $ (I'm unwilling to settle for lower price, lower hotness SBs, unlike HWG).

[/QUOTE]The things I've written here that are subject to interpretation as dogmatic beliefs should be reconsidered; I only know what works for me and gives me peace of mind in my own situation. Behavioral dynamics, particularly when it comes to dating chemistry, is complex and unpredictable sometimes. It has taken me a long time to figure out what works for me individually, and I doubt there's enough years in a lifetime for any one person to figure out what works for someone else. In other words, take my philosophies with a grain of salt. If something I write here seems admonitory at all, it should be viewed in a different light to examine situational applicability.

Making sure I gift them is the right thing to do for me. There have been other brothers here in the past that have taken girls off the payroll completely, turning them into relationships. Nothing wrong with doing that, it's just not what I want.

As far as I know, I am the only one here who struggles with the fact that my desire to be able to be 100% honest with my SO about everything all the time is only slightly less dominant than my need for sexual variety. That is an inner conflict that, if nobody else has, they should be thankful because it makes things challenging. It also has tremendous impact on one's decisions and perspective. I will be thankful if one day my brain and heart learn to completely overtake my libido with regard to decision making. For those that stay with their wives only as a convenience or to avoid serious financial implications, IMO to some extent they should be thankful for the simplicity of their situation, it removes from the table the most complex question of whether to do this all, and allows you to focus on easier problems to solve, like how to get away with it and how much to pay, etc.

I've had several that have transitioned to more of a boyfriend / girlfriend relationship, but I wouldn't consider that the less expensive option.

Using a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) method, I would rank relationship costs from lowest to highest as follows:

Streetwalker.

Escort.

Sugar Baby.

Girlfriend.

Wife.

Ex-wife.

You may not pay a transactional fee for a girlfriend, but there are much higher expectations of helping when the need arises (dates, trips, rent, phone bill, tuition, legal fees, etc).
