Just a quick post to relate an interesting situation I am having on SD4Me. On a lark, I signed up for a 3-day trial membership using a gift card with $10 left on it. I'll give an status update later. But I just wanted to comment on my recent experience with SA and SD4M.
A year ago, I was big on SA. It was my primary tool for acquiring SBs. I got a good number of responses both from girls replying to my opening letter and from girls browsing my profile. The girls were pretty high quality and had a high percentage of real SBs. SD4M on the other hand, a year ago was littered with pros, UTRs, Nigerian scams, and Nando1s. Yes there were some decent girls, but you had to roll around in the pig trough to find them.
But the past 4 months I also had a billing error with SD4M where I basically got 3 free months after using a free month trial as a returning member. In that time, the response rate was [i]excellent[/i]. There's still the UTRs, Pros, and scams, but there also seems to be A LOT more legit SBs on there now. It almost seems like they have a substantially higher ratio of girls to SDs on SD4M and they did a new marketing plan to attract more "regular" girls to join the site. All my current SBs are from SD4M. A year ago, zero were from SD4M.
Finally my free SD4M memberships expired, so last week I decided to sign up for SA just for fun to see what I could catch. Wow have things changed. The response rate is FAR less than what it was a year ago. The only messages I get from girls browsing my profile are European girls sending me winks. The response rate from my opening letter is like 10-20%, which tend to fizzle out quickly. Before I was getting a 60-70% response rate with maybe half of those leading to legitimate opportunities. Even the profiles of the girls themselves seem less interesting and stale. I haven't been really active on SA for about 6-7 months, yet I'm still seeing many of the same faces (and I live in a major city). Yes there are some new girls but I was expecting more. And of course you have more and more girls putting they expect to get 3-10k allowance per month. Some girls can be talked down but it's yet another hoop to jump through.
I think I'm done with SA for now. I'm gong to stick with SD4M and maybe give SDaddie a try again.
