If any agency has a solid list of consistent, repeat customers they won't respond to anything. There are certain downtimes in the cycle (after busts or end of the year holidays) where business is slow and you might get a response. There is no trick or special in that anyone can give you. IMO, just reach out every once in a while and see what happens, otherwise don't stress too much because there is not much you can do.

YOU CANNOT BE CHARGED on hearsay or conjecture. Sure, they could release your name to the public but it's super unlikely as well. Unless they have you on video whipping out your junk and screaming "I'm PAYING TO SOLICIT SEXUAL SERVICES" you aren't getting charged and even then you may only get a misdemeanor.

We need to get educated about the law and what prostitution busts actually entail. What does "making an example" even mean? Try re-reading it again. If they wanted to they could charge each and every person there is a paper trail on. Look at more illicit sex crimes -- the mere presence of a digital trail is enough to get you arrested. Now WILL they charge customers in an agency bust - not likely. COULD they - Absolutely. I never once said "if you are on the XOC customer list you are getting charged" I clearly stated if you gave your PII to XOC it is now in the hands of LEO -- this is indisputable. But keep putting your head in the sand if that makes you feel better.

And those guys still got off of the charges. You cannot charge people on a "paper trail" only on direct evidence (any lawyer can easily claim someone stole your I'd or whatever). They can only charge you with a crime IF YOU SHOW UP. They have never gone after a predator who said all those nasty things online, but never showed up. And correct, we are in agreement. Going back to the XOC bust, there is very little chance any guys get caught up in it unless they were pretty big fish (politicians, celebrities, or just someone the fed wants to make an example out of). Possibly, yes. Likely, no. But either way, I would not want my PII caught up in it, especially if you have a sensitive career that requires security clearance. This is conjecture on my part, but who is to say by having your PII in a bust like XOC when your clearance is up for renewal that something doesn't get flagged somewhere? Just a thought. People can end up on no-fly list for seemingly obscure reasons based on something they posted online years ago, so it would not surprise me that job clearances / background checks might ping a database with your name associated with a major interstate sex trafficking bust that involved numerous federal agencies.

In the military I knew MPs who told us how to avoid being caught in their child predator stings, and basically you had to talk about explicit sexual acts AND show up. That's also why lots of agencies are low key with just talking about providing "services". The guys they caught knew they were talking to a 14/15 year old. Knew they were getting explicit sexual favors for cash. And showed up to a hotel, only to be cuffed by NCIS and thrown in the brig.
