The main reason I use the credit card is to get points on my card. Guys it is 2019, there really is no problem with using a credit card at an AMP. I have been doing it for years and never once had a problem. Look at the past few years and all of the big box stores having data breaches and info stolen. Stores such as Target, Best Buy and Home Depot, and nobody seems to be concerned about continuing to use a credit card there. As far as a paper trail, a receipt proves absolutely nothing. I could have used a credit card to purchase a Spa gift certificate for a friend. I was at a spa over the summer when it got raided and I got to see first hand what a joke it was. All they wanted to do is bust one of the girls to make it look like they were actually doing something. The spa was never shut down and the best part of the story is that 2 hours later Uncle LEO actually drove the woman back to the spa and dropped her off once they had finished her paperwork. I will continue to park and walk in through the front door and use my credit card, until I have some major issue. SaintChuck.

This will not work for many of you but I do most of the grocery shopping for home. While I am getting the food I also grab a visa gift card and add that to the shopping total. I may pay a minimal fee but I can save my cash for tips.

Using a credit card may work for you and that's fine but I still feel more comfortable not leaving a paper trail and that's what works for me. To each his own.
