Thanks very much, Dr. Monger! Your comments are insightful! I definitely treat them nice and respectably. But like you suggest, going forward, I think I'm going to take a little more time in trying to develop things.

The not paying up front is trickier, but definitely don't pay until at least some clothing has come off, and make sure you are in control at that point. She would run it inside the house, but usually leaving her bag full of outfits, etc in the car. Recently another regular asked me for the cash up front. I was none too happy, since I had seen her on multiple occasions, and been very good to her. But is was in a situation where I was in total control, so I gave it to her. She performed beautifully, perhaps the best ever with her. One of the beauties of the regular hookup with a Blockette is they often do see you as a an ATM, and they want to make sure the cash keeps flowing. Thus they try and make sure you enjoy yourself. Treat them nice and the rewards can be great. Most of my regulars usually call me, not the other way around.

The final caveat is that almost 100% of the Blockettes who do takeout are on drugs, usually heroin. A small few on crack. If you see her going downhill, that is when you need to be careful. Some seem to maintain a consistent level. They go in and out of rehab. But if they slide far enough, no matter how good the relationship you have developed, they will steal from you or worse to get what they need.

Decided to check out The Block in B'more this afternoon. I've never been down there before, and it seemed like an interesting way to spend Halloween afternoon with the wife out of town for work. I stopped into (in order) Club Pussycat, the Red Room, Chez Joey, Diamond Lounge, Norma Jean's and finally the Hustler Club.

There were three places I walked in and walked right back out. The first was Club Pussycat. There was one girl dancing and a bartender sitting by the door. The next was Chez Joey. The scene was almost the same as Club Pussycat, except that there were two girls besides the bartender, but neither was dancing. They offered to get one of them on stage if I came in a bought a drink, but I passed. Finally, when I poked my head into Norma Jean's there were several customers in the place, but I didn't see anyone dancing. It looked more like a regular bar, and the looks I got from the people inside didn't make me feel like I was going to be welcome, so I walked back out.

The first club I stayed in was the Red Room. There were five girls working when I came in, one of them on the stage behind the bar. I'd put them at 4s.7s. Two of the girls were dressed for Halloween. There were also about three customers at the bar. Two of the girls were sitting with customers. (As luck would have it, the two that would have most suited my taste) As soon as I sat down, one of the otherwise unoccupied girls came up and gave me what I now believe is known as "the block handshake". I let her know I was just checking things out.

I got a drink from the bartender, and the other available girl took a seat next to me. She gave me the handshake and introduced herself. We made some light conversation, and I told her it was my first trip to the block. She gave me the rundown on how things worked in the club. After telling me what I could get for how much, both in the lap dance area and the VIP, she thought to ask me if I was LE. I assured her I wasn't, but also let her know I wasn't really interested. Rates were pretty high for what was offered, IMO ($110 just to go to the lap dance area that is at the end of the bar, but with a half wall. I finished my drink and decided to look further down the block.

Diamond Lounge had four girls working, plus a bartender. I'd put the girls her at 6.8. There were 3 or 4 customers in the place as well. I grabbed a drink and checked out the cute spinner working the stage behind the bar. The only thing she had on by the time I came in were her shoes and something on her head that looked to be the final part of a Halloween costume. When she came off stage, it turns out it was a French maid costume. She collected some tips, then came to the seat next to me and started checking the messages on her phone. Before she had said a word, the bartender came over to see if I wanted to buy her a drink. At this point, she speaks up and lets me know that her name was Envy, and that for $20, she gets a drink and I get a lap dance. I decided to give her a go. She got her drink, and we waited for the next song.

She wasn't bad, though her part of her dance included just bouncing hard on my lap. I didn't really find that pleasurable or sensuous. I enjoyed it enough to go for a second dance. Turns out, that meant a second drink for her, too. She left to take the $20 to the bartender and get her drink. I was a little disappointed at the break in the action, but what're you going to do? After the second dance, my drink was done, and I decided to head out to a couple of other clubs.

After poking my head into Norma Jean's and not liking what I saw, I decided to finish my day at the Hustler Club. I'd been in a Hustler Club in So. Cal, and wanted to see how it compared. I paid my first cover of the day at the here, but it was only $5. The girl at the door let me know that the cover was good all day (I could leave and come back on that same $5, and drinks were only $5 today.

This club is clearly a different breed than the rest of the block. The stage was in the middle of the room, and it was a large, open space. There were three girls working, plus a cute bartender dressed as Waldo (as in, "Where's Waldo? ", though that wasn't clear at first, since there were seven girls in the place besides the bartender. The others were there with a couple of the male customers. All together, there were 8 or 9 customers. I'd rank the girls working at 6.8s. (Actually, a 6, a 7, and an 8) The 8 was a beautiful girl going by Ginger. She was on the stage when I first came in, and came to sit with me when she came off stage. We chatted for a while, during which I learned that couch dances were $15 each, or we could go to a more private space upstairs for 2 songs for $40. She looked so delicious, I had to give it a try.

She lead me upstairs, where I discovered another stage, and bar that weren't even in use on this slow afternoon. As we walked to the area for the dances she showed me some of the private rooms that were available. They're definitely set up to take care of a guy with money to spend.

The private area is more secluded than the couches downstairs, but not quite as private as a room. There are deep cubicles with a bench for the customer and an ottoman for the dancer. Ginger used it to hold her outer outfit. (She was dressed as Lady GaGa for Halloween) You definitely have a lot of privacy, There was another customer with another dance two or three spaces down, but I wouldn't have known, except for seeing the other dancer's stuff on the ottoman as we walked out. Ginger made me glad I spent the money for the dances, so much so I had a second helping. A total of 4 songs for $80. It made me glad I had made the trip.

Overall, the Hustler Club was more my type of place than the other clubs on the block. If I find myself with another afternoon as a temporary bachelor with some money to burn, I might check out the other side of the street. I think a big part of my bias is the ability to sit at the stage and tip the girl dancing, without the bar between. The pressure to buy girls drinks at the other clubs may also have triggered flashbacks to my time in Korea, but those aren't all bad memories.

Those are wise words Doc. Can't even begin to say how valuable your guidance and wisdom of the street and women have been over the years.

During the ten years of intense scouting, I have never had any luck on Sundays-it seems like only the fuglies work on Sundays (and Monday. Your best bet for Block experience is Thu, Fri, and Sat. My ATFs, current and past, all work (ed) only on those three days.

That's probably a poor reason, but I suited me. All-in-all, I was pleased with my time at the Hustler Club. I would recommend Ginger, and the club. It seems to fill a different niche than the rest of the block, though.

Finally, I hooked up with Drm the other night. Cute blond, big natural boobs, good personality, a little on the chubby side, the way I like it, sometimes. She is definitely a keeper. She looks pretty good now but would have been amazing several years ago.

I could be wrong but I think she took a long hiatus. She is back. I saw her at the PC 2 weeks ago. First, I could not recognize her because it has been quite a while, maybe 3-4 years? She gained some weight and is more of a MILF type but still pretty sexy.

Most boring trip ever. Arriving at 1pm, made my usual stops at Circus, Jewel Box, Red Room, Flamingo, and last at the Plaza. Almost no customers, only a few dancers at each place. A few new cuties at the Plaza, and for one her first day. I try to avoid the cuties and newcomers for the obvious reasons.

Not to counter the good and accurate information already posted but it's been my experience that on slow days like Sundays & Mondays some of the performers are so hard up for business that good deals can be had. Now that's not to say the the atmosphere will be the same as a raunchy crowd filling the bar on a Saturday and the best performers usually aren't there either but if you find a dancer you like, she's probably all yours for less than usual.

OK. Don't post too often but, you guys give some really good info so here it is. Back in town for a few days. Like the usual I hit the block. First went to Norm's, it was about 10 or 11ish so it was really dead. Then checked out SD. I don't know whats going, I been gone for a little while but I didn't see any of the regulars. I mean this is a Thursday, what are they doing. WORKING, LOL. Anyway I'm at the bar and the hottest chick is sitting beside me. I play like I don't see her but I'm looking, LOL. So, I asked her. You going on stage. She says,"NO, I don't like the stage". I retorted with, well, what do you like. I like the back. LOL. I said "really" (being very sarcastic. She said "yeah, you want to go back there?". I said I don't know, what we going to do. She said you want some of this P. Theatm. Her sexy self just out with it like that. LOL.
