IMO, if LE fucks with you. Just let them do their thing, be respectful, and you should be on your way shortly. The day they fucked with me they were just doing their job. They were looking for drugs, guns, etc, because I was in an area known for drugs, guns, etc. 5 minutes of my time and I was on my way without so much as a seat belt ticket. I could only imagine what would of happened if I got lippy and told them "I know my rights, you can't search my car, I did nothing wrong, why did you pull me over, what's you're badge number."

Doesn't matter if they have body cams or not. They still all have dash cams now. It's required by law. Do I know not to fuck with the DPD. Yes. Do I put it last them to plant something? Nope. As a matter of fact the example I used with the guy in Inkster, they actually planted crack on him. His lawyers requested a blood test immediately. He was clean. The moral here is that you don't have to allow them to badger you or try to intimidate. I'm not suggesting anyone test your limits. I'm simply saying it pays to know your rights. As far as me personally? I'm ex USMC. I'm a concealed weapon carrier. I've had to deal with plenty of situations with Police when stopped. Including being taken out of my car while they secure my weapon. You simply tell them where it is, if you have it and they reach I'm and get it. Again I'm speaking from the perspective of a person who is clean with no record. Other than being in a place of known illegal occupation, they have jack shit on me. If your cruising around smoking a blunt with a beer in your lap while your bag with duct tape, condoms, and zip ties are in the back seat, you would obviously reconsider your approach when being pulled over. Common sense I kind of thought?
