DSLR=Professional photos?
Saw Blue and her friend Jen, made me so mad, I gave them 20 Mario Coins to Exit My Car. End of that Story. Not five minutes later I was headed to The College on 66th and I get a text, come get me I'm out near the college, its little tina. Picked up Tina, said she was having a rough day and had lost her boyfriend and sugar daddy all in one weekend. Decided to spoil her. Plus I have a brand new DSLR Nikon I wanted to give a whirl. Hit the local beach, took some professional photos, found a room, and pretended we were in love, this was all a dream. Absolutely felt like Forrest Gump being in love with Jenny. Long Story Short, she's beautiful. Number for Senior Members ONLY! STA is out.
Buying a DSLR does not make for Professional photos any more than buying a race car makes one a NASCAR driver.
You have started a long journey which can be rewarding as you lear the art of photography.
YouTube has excellent videos on lighting, composition and techniques for better photography, lighting and choice of lenses being of major importance.
A DSLR is a basic tool, like a chisel and hammer. The iPhone 7 is capable of providing DSLR quality in the hands of one who knows how to use it. The new iPhone X is capable of better shots than an entry grade DSLR.
Keep practicing, it will come.
