So she's gone from "never done this before" and "a bit nervous" to scheduling 3 meets in a day and at least one the next day. And you have to assume that the guys on this board are a fraction of the guys she's talking to. Odds that this is real have just dropped dramatically. That could be because of how I vet them before the first date, or with how I come across to them (not the type of personality that would be a good candidate for their victim profile).
But more than anything I think it's just that for a girl to get all dolled up and go to the time and effort (and transportation) expense of meeting for dinner, it would not be worth it just for them to get some free food.
So for me at least, the dinner scam is a non issue.

However, that poster also said he was getting incredible women in England right now for like 200 a date (virtue of dollar strength).

All I can say is that I've spent now 3 days in a row of frequent to almost constant texting with her. She's shared several really good pics, including one partial nude one as well. Her personality & conversational abilities are much better than the average girl her age that you meet on SA.
Yes, we have a meet set for Saturday late morning now. She gave me the name of her dorm at UGA specifically--where to pick her up. And she says she'll do a video chat with me this evening when I'm available because I'm trying like the devil to assure myself she's real.
All my suspicious instincts say "too good to be true. " But I see this as low risk. I don't live that far from Athens. As with any of these girls, any requests for "advances"which she has not done, at least yet--will be met with termination of contact by me. Plus, I've lined up a plan B in Athens (a known commodity to me & reliable) operating under the assumption that this girl is a fake.
To me, it's worth a shot. If she ghosts or otherwise no-shows, then I'll be on my way to plan B.

Once you get into Europe, particularly eastern countries, the scene (online, bars, whatever) is aplenty with guys who could never get laid in the US to start with, but traveled there to become victim of lots of Russian or similar or expats of related zones, etc. And to be honest and fair, if were in a place where I wasn't getting what I wanted here, the allure of all those amazing looking ruskie-vaggies would be tempting, so I get it. But in that environment it doesn't surprise me when someone gets rinsed in a town they don't know well, where she knows everyone and is in on the take.
That particular scenario is just far removed from what I do. As discussed here, I never recommend letting the girl pick the restaurant, for a number of reasons. First, choosing where to eat for those you provide for is a dominance thing, so always have control of that. It's like driving a car is in control, never let an SB pick you up in her ride -- being the driver creates a psychological scenario in the favor of the driver. Second, if she chooses the restaurant in an area she does know, she could be on the take. Exception of this is if you're traveling with an SB in an area you chose and she can't possibly know, then letting her pick cuisine type or restaurant can sometimes give her the "I'm being spoiled!" vibe, and result in some good cock treatment for you later. But on this board there is a lot of variance in what is considered sugaring, and that last tip mostly applies to true SBs.
I agree that this is definitely a TGTBT situation. If it turns out otherwise I'm happy for the other suitors and I'll pursue at a later time. Good luck to the others!
