This is always timely advice especially for guys who are married or in serious relationships. I'm single and still use a cheap burner phone just as a precautionary measure. Been a while since I posted (out of town a lot for work purposes -- and staying a little UTR of late with some trusted, regular providers), but C3's take made me want to throw in my two cents in the effort to help others.

I'm relatively new to the hobby, but the separation of "church and state" is absolutely essential.

For me personally, I try to communicate with SP's as much as possible via email. That may not work for others who have a much heavier usage of our lovely ladies. But, it seems to work for me, especially once you develop a rapport with a provider.

Now, where do I use that email? ONLY on my burner phone, an older Iphone. I do not open this site on a work or home computer, ever. I do not open my hobby email address on any other devices. When I need an actual burner phone and a phone number, I use one of a number of apps that will assign you a phone number so that you can text and call via wi-fi.

Every once in a while that hasn't worked out, but there are free wifi signals everywhere, and it's pretty easy to use it, even when you might be out in the world waiting for a meet-up.

Again. Just my take on "best practices" for hobby protocol for those that are interested in staying safe!
