It says SCH I CS, which is Schedule 1 Controlled substance. Schedule 1 drugs are classified as the most likely to cause potentially severe physical or psychological dependence. They have the highest potential to be abused and no legitimate medical use in the USA They include heroin, marijuana, LSD, MDMA, and peyote. So needles could be involved, maybe not. If she was charged with possession of the drugs, the para would go along with the specific drug. But, no way to tell from the charges.
You're correct the charges say possession of:
"Drug paraphernalia" is a term, to denote any equipment, product or accessory that is modified for making, using, or concealing drugs, typically for recreational purposes. Drugs such as C, H, MJ, and MA are related to a wide range of paraphernalia.
no need for search warrant as long as hotel manager agrees to search the room
Can you provide a source for this? Most everything I read states that Uncle CANNOT search your room without consent or probable cause or it's a violation of your 4th Amendment rights. Even though it's a rented room, you are expected the same privacy rights as a rented house or apartment. If you have a source for the no-warrant search in hotel rooms I'd love to read it.
Edit to add:
"Courts have recognized that the Fourth Amendment protection from unreasonable searches and seizures applies to searches and seizures in hotel and motel rooms. Certain exceptions allow for warrantless searches and seizures, including consent. In broad terms, the consent exception means that a party's agreement, actual or implied to a search and/or seizure renders a warrant unnecessary. In general, during a guest's stay at the hotel, only the guest may consent to a search of his or her room. While hotel staff members may access the room for cleaning and maintenance during the guest's stay, they are not authorized to allow police to enter the room. Thus, during a guest's tenancy at the hotel, employees should not allow police to enter the guest's room without a search warrant."
In other words, STFU, don't consent to searches, and tell Uncle to come back with a valid search warrant.
Still would love to see a counter argument JohnJohn. I'm not afraid to learn something.

Cause LEO don't even knock on the door dude Obiesly if they did I wouldn't open it I would just act asleep or something LOL, manager opens the door for them or gives them a key and lets them in!

This is the best post so far for 2018. IMHO! So true!
I came up with my million dollar idea today. Escort Phone Charging. I don't know how often your phone is uncharged, but apparently, this is a real problem for escorts in the Triangle. I don't hobby as frequently as I used to. So, maybe, it stands out more to me. Today, I showed up for a scheduled appointment (Made the appointment on Tuesday) and confirmed this morning. Radio silence. I waited for a suitable amount of time, and returned to Raleigh, from Durham. Two hours later, she texted back with the dead phone excuse.
So, I go around and check on their phones, and charge them if they are dead. It will increase business for them, and increase their income. Sometimes, my genius scares me.

Be very very careful with this one now. If you look at CCBI they also arrested the guy that was in the room with her. At the same address at the same time by the same officer, GDJ went down for Solicitation of Prostitution. Not worth the risk at any cost. They will be watching. Be safe boys. He just got his world rocked. She's been arrested 5 times since 2014. Assault, DWI, DWL.
Nattie.
Sure enough, GDJ made his local community news report in JC since he is tied to the school system. This hobby has gotten too dangerous. The UTRs making ends meet during the recession have almost completely disappeared, nothing is left but the druggies.

I got caught up in a sting in the midwest 10 yrs ago. They had turned a provider and so were the renters of the room. Funny thing is, I had noticed the security latch was removed. But I locked the door from the inside so they had to knock. Couldn't get my briefs on quick enough and they came in and took a polaroid of my junk. Of course with time and money these things can go away, but I am sure there is a page somewhere on the interwebs that still has some of that info. I do a search every year or so to check it out.
Stay safe.
Does anyone know how to get copies of arrest reports? I can't find an online resource but would be happy to pick one up in person since I'm sure they're public record. Regarding the hotel staff, IIRC hotels have a right to enter your room at anytime for any reason as well as to let the cops in. FWIW as long as they pay, don't cause trouble and so forth hotel staff could care less. That said, motels are better because lobbies suck. After dark I generally demand to be let in a side / back door or I leave.
Regarding the hotel staff, IIRC hotels have a right to enter your room at anytime for any reason as well as to let the cops in.
Hotel staff can enter your room for any reason. Just like an apartment landlord can enter an apartment at any time for any reason. The police issue is due process. If they search your room without a warrant I think a good attorney would have a field day with that in court.
