Do you pay for sex? I don't. I go for a massage at an AMP. Whatever happens between consenting adults, happens.
Somewhere, some place there is a document entitled something like "Rules for Mongering". I could not find it. Not sure if it is in this forum.
Yeah, if one looks in the upper left corner of every USASG page, locate the "button" labeled "Front Page". Click on that. In the far left column of that page. In the "fine" print. Locate the tag "22 Rules for Street Mongering!"
A picture is worth a thousand words.

The same old " I don't pay for sex, I pay for : taking pics / massages / company / table shower, etc " do we really believe that the LEO's reading this and other forums are fooled by this? Do we really believe they don't know how things work in the oldest profession? Are we so dumb that we can believe saying this gives us plausible deniability?
Let me say this : I PAY FOR SEX AND SO DO YOU! I can go to the nearest police station and scream to the top of my lungs "I PAY FOR SEX!" and the only thing they can get me for is disorderly conduct (and making a fool of myself maybe) unless they have hard evidence of you actually paying an "x" amount of money to an "x" person to perform an"x" sex act they don't have a case and they know it, so only if they catch you in the act you need to get on the defense, keeping your mouth shut until you see a lawyer works better than saying you only paid for "x" excuse, and anything I write online in a public forum is just my personal opinion protected by the First amendment, LEO have to prove that any illegal activity actually happened, the burden of proof is on them.
Rant Off!

Rant Off!
This is not a rant.
But! I would suggest that you go back and read what you wrote. (I have taken the liberty of putting in bold print that portion of your post I think you should reconsider.) In essence haven't you just admitted to committing a crime? If you were ever investigated and proven to be the person behind the user name Lemmesee, could the statement you made about paying for sex be used against you? I don't know. I am not a lawyer.
Ok! Ok! Ok! I agree! Nothing like that is likely to happen to Lemmesee. But! I'm CookyJar. I am way more visible and a much wider known target than Lemmesee. I have been doing this for more than five years, posted thousands of pictures, made hundreds of personal contacts and on the avenue I am the most visible member of the Philadelphia forum (IMHO).
To be honest, I don't know who reads / follows the USASexGuide Fourm. As you so wisely pointed out, I would be a fool to assume that local law enforcement, working in the largest red light district in the tri-state area, does not know what is going on. And! Since one out of every three girls working the avenue knows of this site and the infamous CookyJar; would not I be a fool to assume that LE has not heard of CookyJar.
I cannot read tarot cards or tell the future. Hopefully I am protected by the anonymity of my user name and the internet. But! God forbid, if I am ever stopped and harassed by LE, taken in for investigation and associated with this site, I hope that my attorney is grateful for the fact that there is no admission to a crime by me anywhere. I would hate to be standing with my lawyer in front of a judge proclaiming my innocents only to have some junior district attorney pull up on his IPad a quote by me bragging, on this website, about the commission of a crime. This would never happen to me because I don't pay for sex. That would be illegal.
Speaking only for myself, my denial is not made to anyone in particular. I am stating to anyone it may concern now or in the future, I do not pay for sex. I am not promoting prostitution. I do not pay for sex. I am an artist. I sometimes use female models. That is about all that I am willing to say on the subject.
I am not trying to fool anyone. I am trying to protect myself from the probabilities. Just as you have suggested, if I am stopped; I will keep my mouth shut knowing that I am innocent and that there is no evidence or admission of guilt anywhere.
I do have a physical medical reason that impairs thinking depending on a specific trigger.
Sorry to hear of this, hopefully you'll get better.
There are protocols in place for a reason and they are designed for protection. Let's take the three "scenes" and a FIRST TIME visit.
AMP. Place the donation on the table.
You're legislating again, and I still have no idea where all this legislation comes from. But I'll give up at this point, cause I'd have to repeat myself ad nauseam. I'll only add that on a number of occasions, I walked in, was whisked into a room, paid the house fee, was given TS and massage and then asked "what else do you want"? To which I replied,"what do you have?", whereat I was given, cautiously, a menu of options with prices. No, I didn't know the provider from the past, it was our first meeting. No, I didn't put the max donation on the table (though lately it is what I do. But that doesn't make it a rule). No, no one told me, it's an hour for full rate no matter what. I never thought it's any different from visiting a restaurant: you come in; it is assumed you want to eat; you are given a menu; you're free to pick anything on it; you're given what you've ordered and left in peace to eat it. No one tells you you must order the most expensive item on the menu. Same thing here.

And even if they did, what's to prevent him from saying, well, none of it is true, I was drunk, I was trolling, I was trying to get a rise out of CookieJar, I was trying to impress me mates there, etc. Come on. Our most important safeguard consists in being of abso-freakin-lutely no interest to anyone. Now, if we were bin Laden, that would be different! And they'd find a way to shoot us dead even if we werent massage addicts. We're mostly good cause we're a no one. Spitzer got hauled out in the sun though, cause he's a someone (who pissed a lot of people).

Has this ever worked for you before? Denial after the fact. I will have to try that the next time I am in court. My bad your judgeship! I was drunk, I didn't mean it. I was only playing. Just fooling around with my buddies. (Did you forget that the reason you were pickup in the first place was because you had a known prostitute setting next to you in your car.)
In your case; pay the fine.

I have no idea why LE does what they do. I have no idea why LE might be interested in Lemmesee. I have no idea why the system chooses to go after prostitutes and their johns. But! They do! Why do they put the pictures of alleged johns in the news before they are properly charged or convicted? To humiliate them? To embarrass them? To discourage others? I don't know. I don't know why they would be after me other than the fact that my presence is so widely established. And, I don't know why they would be after Lemmesee, but, rumor has it that he is a rich businessman and former politician currently running for a major political position, hiding behind a username.
I do know that LE should not be interested in me because; I do not pay for sex. I am not a john, I'm an artist. I do not promote prostitution. I hope everyone understands that soliciting for sex is bad and illegal.

CookyJar
Must be that LE has no interest in taking you down. Why would they? What would they accomplish? To find you would require some extra efforts beyond normal beat cop stuff. And how would that be justified for a misdemeanor ticket? As long as one isn't breaking any laws, harming any girls or dating under-aged skirt, can't see why LE would target you?
Oh sure, perhaps some Vice Cop gets a hard-on or decides he wants the feather in his cap to bag the famous CJ? Anything is possible, I guess.
But as a buddy with former LE and current court experience reminds me. If LE wants to find you, they will.
The fact that they haven't tagged you, perhaps means they have more pressing issues?
Good luck & stay safe!
I met terra.

Just doing their job. It is part of their job, isn't it. (What goes down on the avenue has to be of major importance to Philadelphia Vice.)

Once again, I totally agree, it's not likely. But stranger things have happened.
I doubt if there's a picture of me hanging on bulletin boards. Does Vice have me on their radar? I don't know. I doubt if they are out actively looking for me. Am I being paranoid? Maybe. There is no harm in being safe, is there?

CookyJar
I will give you one point, a very valid point, CookyJar, you stand out among this crowd and most likely any LEO worth his salt in those areas knows about a guy named CookyJar, just as they should have know about a guy named SuperEloquent and we all know what happened : LEO didn't get Super, another monger did, we should be more weary about a monger with a bone to pick than the average LEO, who after all is human like all of us (I would like to believe he is like all of us) and looks for the path of least resistance, will take a case if it falls on his lap but dedicating a lot of effort looking for a single guy is too much of a hassle, unless they want you for some very specific reason and we all know you are a good guy at heart, so no too much to worry about, right?
Lets watch our six, be careful around there and all but on those wild places we like to go play at there is a lot of dangers everywhere and LEO may not be the worst one, we risk life and limb in here!

So folks unless you admit under oath in a court of law that you paid for it, no other comments that you say or write matter. If you've ever been in a locker room or a fraternity house you know that half of what's said is BS! Leo can't even bust providers for what they say on the sites. That why they have to actually meet providers and get them"on the record" requesting money for sex. So keep posting and stop fretting!
Good Point Chuck! The "crime" of solicitation works out to be a misdemeanor offense, if I understand things correctly. Allocation of manpower / resources demands some level of efficiency and thus spending hours trying to track down an individual monger, likely isn't cost effective and thus low probability. That is why stings are so infrequent (costly) and they need to be designed to capture a large number of offenders to justify the manpower.
So your point is that LE trolling sites like this would be to look for signs of the felony offenses.or ones where they could get the most bang for their buck. That makes sense.
Interesting legal theory about using what one posts on a website as "evidence." You are right, probably would not hold up in court. But hey, the problem is that most dudes, when collared by LEO spill their guts when interviewed by a skilled officer. So IF LEO could make a direct connection to a monger and his posts, and use that as leverage, I suspect 9 times out of 10 the monger is going to admit to something and convict himself. THEN to avoid the embarrassment and cost of a trial, he'll plead out to something else.
But don't think one has to be seen or heard by LEO to be arrested or charged with solicitation. It ain't true. Know for a fact of a monger who got nicked picking up a regular girl and charged, is spite of zero conversation, no talk of money and no hearing (wire) by the girl. He still got charged.
Point is. Always "be about your business" when in SW areas and know your rights and how to deal with Leo when / if approached.
Now as far as CJ goes, if I understand the one of the issues at hand, part of the threat he faces is from outside LE. Just like some dude took it on himself to out SE, it sounds like someone could have decided to target others on this forum. Who knows what vigilante group might be out there? If I understand recent events, that group PJ that was on Dateline, went after some dude who was just cheating on his wife.
Interesting discussion here.
Good Point Chuck! The "crime" of solicitation works out to be a misdemeanor offense,.
I agree, "Good Points."
I understand what everyone is saying. It's not likely to happen.
Believe me, my ego is not so large as to believe LE is interested in singling me out. My concern is being picked-up during a sting or normal operating.
I am not a lawyer. It sounds as if you guys know what you're talking about. Perhaps you do know. What's the different between solicitation and promoting prostitution? I understand that what's said here cannot be used to being charges. You cannot be arrested because of what's said in this forum. My question is can what's said here be used as evidence of intent.
Okay! Let me put it another way. If a monger is picked up during a sting or some normal everyday police actions and charged with solicitation or promoting prostitution; would it help or hinder him if the states attorney had evidence of him bragging, in a locker room, about how much he pays for sex? (What if the monger has posted thousands of photographs along with his admission? Can the posting of pictures of known prostitutes be used to suggest that a monger illegally promotes prostitution. Is the promotion of prostitution a crime?)
No matter how unlikely, could it happen? Could a monger's chances be hampered by a pre-admission of guilt? Similarly, I would not want a record of my saying, '"I going to kill that CookyJar when I find him," available on the day after CookyJar is found died in an alley.
As I have said, many times, I am not a lawyer and I don't pay for sex and I am not promoting paying for sex. I am a amateur photographer.
