Sara, I like the idea of SP's being able to offer a rebuttal and/or defense to an uncomplimentary review, and to offer a kind word of thanks for those favorable reviews, as well. I also think that it's likely that if the boards and threads become too fragmented it will diminish the importance of them individually, and make them all less interesting and less useful? I don't see anything wrong with using your idea in the existing 'Escort Reports' thread, as it was originally intended? I see little difference between the hobbiests opinions and the SP's opinions as each of them relates to the quality of service? If there is someone posting lies or is otherwise out of line, others will come to your defense..... if others have been deceived, they will also confirm that as well. The idea is to post our thoughts and reviews, for others to see, in order to help them form their own opinions. If there are multiple positive or multiple negative reports about a provider or even a member or hobbiest, it will likely be confirmed or condemned by the masses that have an interest in that person. If there is one scathing review from a newbie or an unknown member, it doesn't carry the clout that a sr member(s) may have. Your idea will continue to build credibility among legit members and expose those wishing to cause harm or disturbance and wish to tarnish the reputation of quality providers, such as yourself. I love your idea, and encourage everyone that wants to post, to express their side of the story in one thread and one thread only. It seems to me that we already have that thread, but need to direct all of those type reviews to the same place? Leave the advertising to the "Escort Classified Ads" thread and focus the escort/member reviews at the "Escorts Reports" thread? Although I'm a Dayton member, I feel a bond with my special pals and great providers in Cinci, (several that I communicate with regularly via, txt, pm and email) and still enjoy playing an occasional 'away game', 50 miles south of home. I was not responding in defense to anyone's review of me as I feel that honesty is important in writing about the pro's and con's so that hobbyist know what to excpect upon considering making a visit to a provider. After reading many email threats from this person, I am at fault for jumping the gun and thinking Bucks was a fake name this person used to try and post lies about me and certain others read into Bucks post the same way because of the way it was written. (I'd like to thank those again for coming to my defense anyway:)
I have since then spoken with and met Bucks, we kissed and made up, and turns out that he is a great guy.
I hate to see everyone leaving this board and I hope my misinterpretation of identiy or ("drama" or whatever you want to call it) is not part of the reasoning for some of the members retirement: (
I am generally a positive person who always likes to look for the bright side or finder of solutions to simplify problems. So, I have an idea and others please let me know your thoughts on this if you think it may help or if you have a better idea because normally this site has always been a valuable source of info that many.
My idea is this- I think the escort review board should only be used for that in which it was meant for- pro's and con's, personal experiences, info search questions and answers all of which on that paticular board (or thread) pertains only info on providers from fellow hobbyist to fellow hobbyist.
Any other reports not pertaining to the above mentioned should be listed under general reports. Does that sound like a plan that may help this situation? Let me know your thoughts or ideas.
I just a great idea:) I fully understand there are sometimes two sides of the stories that need to be told as provider's may read reports about them that they feel are inaccurate or untruthful or that they need to expand on.
So with that being said, I will start a thread strictly for provider's where they can expand on their side of the story and call it Escorts Defense-The 2nd side of the story. Or something along those lines. So, if an escort see's a report about her under the Escorts review thread that she feels is untruthful or wants to defend herself in anyway for whatever reason, she will have an area to express her side of the story.
Instead of cluttering the escorts review board (thread) with lengthy escort defense explanations. An escort can simply attach a simple quote under a hobbyist review noting " please see my response to this post under the thread Escorts Defense-The 2nd side of the story.
Does anyone agree with this solution? Or please give feedback if you have an even better idea. I am hoping my ideas may help to resolve some of the recent conflict many have had with this board and we can all continue to use this website for it's valuable resources.
