I was there earlier today and had an outstanding standard NOVA session with Judy (Thanks JJ). It also turns out that the mamasan present is an old acquaintance whom I have seen on and off for nearly a dozen years. I saw her last year when she owned and operated another spa. We caught up on old times and who is where. Saw another therapist in leaving that looked fairly cute as well.

I smell plant.[/QUOTE]Tee Tree is legit (I. E. , no plant), but it's nothing special and certainly nothing to rave about. I've been there a couple times, but only because I happened to be nearby. It offers basic NoVA fare. For my money, I'd head either to DC or other AMPs (or, alternately, the CCs that are also fairly close by).

Another place that seems to be getting undeserved rave reviews is Golden Palms. I tried them once when they were operating out of the apartments near the Vienna Metro Station. The session was too quick and too business-like. For the money, one can get [u]much[/u] better service elsewhere.

With Lotus being close to Vienna station, it has its merits. But I was wondering if you've been to Kim's near Edsall/Backlick and how you would compare the two. I have been to Kim's and had a very nice experience which seems to mirror other comments here.

The primary difference between AMPs in NoVa is if they provide a table shower or a stand-up, lonely one.

Massage and such is pretty much the same in all places.

As for me, since the pricing is the same and often the best part of the experience is the table shower; I tend to only repeat at places which offer the table rather than the lonely stand-up.

But - to each his own and go where you will

I dont want to sound like Im flaming you but just about every K mama in NOVA can walk on your back with some expertise. If they dont know how, they will tell you. JUST ASK! Simple enough for you isnt it?

It was the end of March. And May was a terrific way to help me go out as a lion (and be as relaxed as a lamb by the end of the session).

Actually I think she likley spells her name Mai. Younger than most I've seen. Perhaps late 20's, with mediom length black hair, incredibly slender. When she walked on my back it was more like a feather. She can not weigh 40 Kg (100 lbs). And a smile to melt a cold day. And warm hands to fire the spirit.

T/S was very complete. And once she was sure I was comfortable she made sure I was clean. Very clean. And very well rinsed.

Massage. In truth, really only OK (if massage is the main goal, which admitiedly for many is not).. But score Mai 10 points for the soft, feathery touches that can cause stiffening and the need to streatch.

She saw I was chilled after the shower, and shared warmth.

On the flip side. Much more fun than many. With polite roaming allowed and viewing of the sceanery. No rush at the end, but a thorough finish with appropriate (no too loud) sound effects. Hot towels. Warm hugs. Time to get me out the door.

When I arrived, I was the only client, and even Angie (the Ahjima/MMS) helped me relax for a while. She really likes repeat clients. I wish she was still taking customers herself, I think she would be excellent // but by the time I left, every room had a client and Angie was calling for Mai to finish and move on..- so, although I was not rushed, it was under the standard hour as I left. But, I know they will make the time up on a future visit.

This was a sold 9 visit across the board. Standard rates and tip for an hour at a very great NoVA AMP.

I agree with Sleez but must add, the Table Shower and the good massage are the defining characteristics of the various locations. Find one with both and be very generous!

I have not been to Kims since it changed over from the old Star (and Mykonis before that). I never did care for the layout there.

This is a relatively new place off of rt 50. There is another massage place in the same complex that is strictly therapeutic, so if you venture out there, be sure to go to pay attention. CT is the one that is inside the complex and not the one that faces the street, or simply use the suite number that appears in Washington Post ad. To be safe. I was with Jeannie, who is small and cute. The TS was mediocre, but she does better than average on the massage including back walking. Standard NoVA ending, but Jeannie has exceptionally skilled hands. 8 at the door and. 5 tip. I didn't try roaming and none was offered.

I have quasi been associated with the hobby on a limited basis for years, and have been a lurker here for a while. Lurk no more.

I can report on two recent dreams from AT, our lovely scented establishment. I was hesitant to go based on previous difficulties, but.

Dream one was mid March with a very pretty gal named "Sue, " a pretty gal (one of the prettier I've seen) in her? Early 30's. Friendly, Chatty, Laughy.

Engaged in the. 8 hour. Massage itself was substandard compared to some other AMP experiences, but she had teased a little bit while on my tummy and on the flip provided a nice NOVA finish. Roaming was tolerated but not encouraged. Not a stellar performer, but enough to keep me coming back. Standard. 4 tip given, without reservation.

Dream 2 was late March (you know how it works, once the seal is broken.). I was greeted by another gal, inquired about Sue, and was told she was busy. This gal, Joelle, was a bit more reserved. The massage was outstanding. One of the best massages I've had in a while. The flip occurred early in the game and the flip activities ensued. Once completed, she cleaned up and finished with more massage. I left as relaxed as one can be in this situation, given that you have three eyes open and an active brain troubleshooting potential outcomes. Again, an hour and the standards were gleefully donated.

As a side note: A couple people have gotten it right. Part of the AMP experience is the game. I've always liked the gamesmanship part of the hobby. So long as one meets some standards of generosity, and knows the score, one can have great times at some of these places. I also find myself pretty generous. These ladies have had some hard times in their lives and this is far from an ideal occupation. Unless some one is just downright rude (and that has happened at AT, unfortunately, I'm gonna be pretty generous)

PC out[/QUOTE]Not a flame at all and I'll definitely keep that in mind the next time I'm out. Never even thought of trying that. But then of course, as much as the back walk was the first priority on my mind when I asked the question here, the priorities often get skewed when I'm there in the darkened room and the mama is never the one I'd pick in a lineup.

I always ask for a hard massage which usually involves the girl walking on my back. I have had some girls get their knees into my back as well with wonderful results.

Only the really good massage therapists give a great hard massage though, so ymmv. Honestly, the generosity of my tips tends to have as much to do with how well they do that as it does other services.

The last really great hard massage I got was at MWC in Woodbridge from Kiwi, but she seems to have moved on. Recent trips there have been disappointing.

I saw that article bout bust in PWC. Frequenting a bawdy place? What is that? That stinks. Takes all the fun out of my travels.

I stopped by Kims off Backlick and was hoping to ask Angie for May. Unfortunately, another girl answered. "You been here before?". "yes, where's Angie?" She's shopping. OK - led to the room. Is May available. No, busy. OK. Anyway, Lisa who was the one at the door, was also my technician. A bit older, so-so face, OK body. The TS was pretty good, but perhaps not as much attention to certain areas as I'd like. Back to the room. "you like soft, medium?" "Medium-hard at first, soft later." Anyway, the hard massage was actually very good. Not a lot of teasing, but no bad signs. Finally, the teasing starts. Turn over. A bit of roaming allowed, and a standard NOVA finish. Since I was "pent up", I didn't last long, so when she acted done, it was only about 45 minutes in. I asked for a head massage which she did for a few minutes. Time 50. Overall, a decent experience, but I've had better there.

Long time Sonja fan, I checked out the reviews on Craigslist and stopped by to see Diana in her Vienna studio. She seems to be somewhat UTR so veterans feel free to PM me for details. All in all, it was a decent experience for my $. 2, her looks and personality are great, but the massage was a little rough and the extras were just OK. YMMV but I will probably not repeat.
