I've been avoiding lately. A few months back there was a blow up where some agency owner accused another agency of being under investigation and doing something shady with clients' info. It turned into a big debacle. I decided to give them their distance after that. True or untrue, it doesn't seem look a good idea to do business with an agency that gets involved with a squabble with other organizations like that. JFL and ER were two that were heavily involved in it. Some others too, but those were the only ones I could remember.

Here's another vote for JFL. I've been using agencies since when Pleasures Playhouse was called Jennifer's Jewels and the difference in agency quality in Atlanta between then and now is jawdropping. For one, there is no bait and switch with most agencies now (I haven't used Pleasures Playhouse in forever but they were notorious for that shit). And even more importantly, the service level for JFL is light years ahead of those old agencies. I'm not so much concerned about my privacy as I am continuing to have dealings with an agency that has beefs spill over into a hobbyist forum. If it spills over there, where else could it spill over? It's more than just privacy, man. Agencies will do some very underhanded shit to get the drop on a competitor, and clients often get caught in the middle when shit goes sideways. I personally know of it happening back when I lived in NY and LA, and it always started with something trivial like a back and forth on TER. Sems to me I'm right on time.
