My experience is from like 6 months ago so I'm not so much reporting to provide info as I am just sharing my thoughts. I went to QQ / Star Point, which I'd been to before and had an OK experience. Obviously ok enough to return. This last time though was unpleasant. First, upon walking in the odor was nauseating. It smelled like cat food that had been left out for weeks. I'm fairly certain something died in there. The smell was strong enough that my nose never adjusted and my clothes and hair stunk of it even after going home. Second, the sheet on the table had a shit stain on it. The provider covered it up with a towel when she saw it. Finally, the massage was worse than not getting a massage. It felt like I was in that scene in Friends where ross massages the guy with wooden spoons. Just a waste of time. Finally, the service itself was fine, no different from the dozens of other "just fine" services I've received over the years. But altogether the experience was so far over on the unpleasant side of the ledger that it snapped me back to reality and made me realize that the whole hobby is just not worth it for me. The women are literally the same frumpy women I see shopping in Asian family market or 99 ranch, and I never have any desire to fuck them then. Most of the time I feel like I'm convincing myself to do it. And of course the drain on the finances is a factor.

I don't begrudge anyone for this hobby so I'm just sharing my experience in case it helps anyone else out there feel validated. It's been surprisingly easy to quit. And any time I've had an urge, all I have to do is wank one out at home and the thought disappears. Best of luck to everyone.

And yet, later on, I always convince myself the next experience will be better, and then it usually is, so I'm back in.

I feel like for sure the bad experiences are far more common now than they once were, even though I'm much more careful now.
