I had the same thing happen recently
I wonder what kind of information this person gave away to reveal that much to the person from stg.
I've had people attempt that shit with me but none of the information that they have is real.
So this report wasn't me, but I did have a similar thing happen. Totally freaked me out in the moment. All I gave to the account was my name. They got my address, wife's name and a family picture.
How it started was I got a text from a local # that just said "hey is this xxxxx". With my job this isn't out of the ordinary, so I said yes, especially since it was local. Then they pasted a lengthy message about me wasting his girls time and I owe him $800 for pictures and time. At this point I was skeptical so being the Ahold I am, I said could you send them again and refresh my memory. That's when they texted another number and did a group chat and threatened me and my family with my address. Freaked me out and I called the police immediately. They ran the number, called me back and said it was a scam. But in between that the number called me and I answered trying to see if it was real or not. It was a pre-recorded message of some want to be gangster who only does canned responses. That's also when I knew it was fake.
Still crazy they can get your home address and spouses name, just from your name / phone #.
Cops told me if you respond to the first text, that's when they know you're real.
