Easier to find what you're looking for, lighter on the wallet, and more over-the-top action going on. Some of the long-time posters in the Thailand thread gave me extremely helpful advice for on-the-ground foraging. The Philippines was at least as good, in my opinion.

This is my first posting so please excuse me if I write something that might be out of line.

I read this forum but have not been hobbying of late. So today let me add a report.

I went to what used to be Sky when I went there, I think it is 13xx something now. I met Young and we recognised each other from our pasts. It seems we have both been around.

Everything was standard. I would say she has two negatives--

I did notice a very active gay bar. I kept wondering why I saw so many gay guys wandering around and there it was. I have to say I felt a little conspicuous walking tentatively around the alley, like some nervous straight guy too shy to take the plunge.

The recent shutdown was for interior renovations. There was a lot of new paint and some new furniture, most of it a shade of pink. The lights at the top of the stairs are working, which is the first time I can remember that in a few years.
